Dr. Philip Solomon... Not Very Nice to American Customers... and Apparently Incompetent?

I was planning on seeing a Canadian doctor because...

I was planning on seeing a Canadian doctor because the quality and the fall of the Canadian dollar saves you thousands these days. I came 2,000 miles away from Nevada to see Dr. Solomon for a consultation I booked. When I arrived, the woman at the desk was very nice, everything was okay. The doctor took about 30 minutes until he finally called my name (I assume thats how it goes though). He then pronounced my name in the worst way I'd ever heard... (my name is spelled Sareda. He said "Say-ray-dayy? Say-ray-day?". I thought it was funny and wasn't offended since people get my name wrong all the time. But I just don't understand how reda would come out as "rayday". Anyway, I cheerfully went into the office after travelling 2,000 miles, sat down for two minutes and was told to book my appointment. He had a 2 minute consultation with me. 2 minutes as in, could count to to 120 and I was out of there. After we were out the door and I told him basically what I want, he added as an afterthought, "Well, you're american so unfortunately we can't operate on you". I said "Actually I have Canadian Citizenship :)" He said "oh. Okay. Then you can book at the front desk."...
Travelled 2,000 miles to have a 2 minute consultation. Also, I had already booked my surgery and paid my deposit. So I was a paying costumer who travelled 2,000 miles... to have 120 seconds of talk.
Surprisingly, that wasn't even what broke the deal for me. I booked the appointment and was told I'd be emailed before and after photos.
After asking for before and after photos... it took literally 3 weeks at a time to even get a response. They did not want to send before and afters, and instead said that I should come back to Canada and talk to them face to face. I had to explain to them more than once that I live in Las Vegas, so I need to do this over email. (I mean... if they don't know what I want yet, after the 2 minute consultation that was apparently "enough" for them, then they should spend more time with their patients.) Anyway, they ended up refusing to give me before and after pictures I asked for... only one, for a procedure that had nothing to do with what I wanted. They then charged me over 300$ for that photo. I was so mad that I jumped the gun and booked my apopintment with them before knowing about their horrible costumer service and literal incompetence.
I felt like maybe this would be my experience... until I later had another appointment at a different office and difference doctor, with great costumer service, who was on time with my appointment, and took the time to try to understand what I need... basics that I definitely did not find at Dr. Solomon's office, at all. I am really surprised at these positive reviews... I have no idea why I was treated so badly but all I can do is share my experience in case anyone else is confused as well!

Did u go to another Canadian doctor? Who did u see?
Hello there, honestly you are lucky and that's all it matters! Can u imagine all the negative experiences.... trust me you are blessed. All the best with the new surgeon. You should look into Dr.Smith he is the best in Toronto.
