Bump on side of nose

Ok so I'm one month post op and I know it's too soon to know anything for sure but I have this hard lump on the side of my nose. I have an appointment with my surgeon for my post op appointment on Tuesday but I'm kind of freaking out right now. Anyone else had anything similar??? You can see it's a lump on my nose/cheek on the right side of my face. Doc said I had the most work done on that side because I had no right nostril but I'm worried now. I had the bump there before surgery obviously not that bad but it was one of the problems he was supposed to fix and make symmetrical on both sides. Left side looks amazing but this stupid bump is freaking me out :(. Please let me know if it's normal or if anyone has had anything similar??? I had rhino septoplasty turbinate reduction. Thank you

Hello all, Ive been wanting to write a review...

Hello all,

Ive been wanting to write a review since the week before my surgery. However, I could never actually get to it. I finally had my septorhinoplasty that I've wanted/needed ever since I broke my nose when I was about 8 years old.

My journey began about 6/7 months ago when my good friend got her rhinoplasty due to a broken nose as well. I think being there for her during her recovery is what really sealed the deal for me. I watched her heal so effortlessly and then saw her beautiful results afterwards and I knew I had to get the surgery done once and for all.

After going through the experience myself with the same surgeon, Dr. Anil Katyal (who is absolutely AMAZING), I can certainly say that I would recommend this procedure to anyone who wants/needs to get it done. I was truly skeptical about the whole procedure, mainly the pain I was going to feel, the sickness from the anesthetic, and the splint I would have to wear for 6 days. However, I got through the week seamlessly! The worst part of the procedure for me was the first night after the surgery. I had lots of nausea from the anesthetic but luckily I never threw up. We all know how awful nausea feels, in the moment all I wanted was to throw up so I would feel better. Luckily for me I had my wonderful beau taking great care of me, which I must add made a huge difference in my recovery. I took the week off and spent thursday to sunday at his house. After that I was good to go home and finally get some rest in my own bed.

Bruising and swelling was not bad at all for me! I'm actually extremely surprised because the IV needle that I got in my hand before the surgery bruised me more (which I thought was kind of funny). I actually didn't even have to fill my tylenol 3 prescription because I felt no pain at all. I just followed the doctors instructions to use a saline spray and polysporin 3 times a day.

I had a great septorhinoplasty journey and I can't wait to see what my final results will look like. If you guys have any questions feel free to ask.

ALSO I forgot to mention above that I took arnica pills about three times a day after the surgery. I wanted to take them before the surgery (doc recommended to begin one week pre op) but I completely forgot!
