Bio Alcamid Disaster - Toronto, ON

Had numerous infections (severe) the latest...

Had numerous infections (severe) the latest occurring july 2012. Infection resulted in massive swelling requiring emergency surgery. Surgery took as long as heart by-pass surgery, was very complicated according to the surgeon. Had to go in before the abscess caused sepsis. the hole in my face was 3cm by 3cm by 1cm and required packing of the hole for the first month. The experience was incredibly painful both physically and psychologically. Was not able to do anything for the summer. Am looking for person's with similar experience who would be willing to be interviewed by CBC Canada for an in depth story. I've been after them for some time to do such a story.

just wondering what's going on with everyone. I'm sorry to say that here in Toronto, everyone has dropped the ball including the government. I just can't figure out what they are so afraid of???? Maybe we should talk to a movie producer and write a script for a movie, (I know I've mentioned it before) just like Ms. Enver's boys. Seems like the last stone left unturned.

Hi 15sydenham. I am sorry to hear your struggle. I too am in the same position and need to have the bio-alcamid removed from my face. Yet, I do not know any doctor's in Toronto. Can you please help me. Perhaps you can assist me by giving me the name of the surgeon who worked on you. I thank you so much.

so, some weeks later, still no accountability, though since I posted there has been a lot of weirdness, from some dr's. I've got a scar on my face, which is not the worst of it. I'm a little cautious about making postings, cause who knows who is watching. I'll let you know if anything comes of my experience. In the meantime, the more people that contact CBC go public, the better. I can't do this alone, I really need people to step up and tell their stories to make a difference. Cheers

Dear Megan, thank you for asking. to put it simply I am spun. with each passing day more and more information is coming in about more and more serious consequences from this experimental ???, Just the other day a dr. here in Toronto told me that a physician in France died of complication from this poison. Here's an excerpt about a woman named Lauren in the UK But her obsession nearly ended on her deathbed when the Bio-Alcamid formed tiny tumours called granulomas in her face. The infection which followed caused her to be hospitalised with suspected septicaemia — and a surgeon had to remove the product from her top lip. Now the financial researcher faces years of expensive and painful treatments to reconstruct her disfigured lip. The surgeon that operated on me told me that she was not able to remove all of the product and I am terrified that my story may go the way of Lauren. I've still got a face full of this toxic product on both sides of my face. There must be some way to organize to put pressure on governments around the world (reports coming in from around the world) to demand remuneration and accountability. I'm composing my thoughts to write a letter to WHO. It seems that the local media is not interested in my story as they only want stories that can sell and I was told to contact them the next time I have an infection! I will do that but in the mean time I will continue to agitate all levels of government and organizations to bring this disaster to light. ENOUGH

In the Netherlands many people are injected with Bio-Alcamid . In particular, Dr. Velthuis has injected a lot of people with that stuff . He was also in Canada (Totonto) to introduce Bio-Alcamid. Bio-Alcamid is from the end of 2004 also in my face. I already had a number of interventions. At this moment, there is still a residue visible under my left eye. I'm afraid, because I realize that this poisened stuff probably never will be removed completely out of my body.

start a movement, this kind of stuff has not happened since the "tuskagee study" google it. I can't believe how passive everyone has been so far, I was also passive, but since have started a activist movement here in Toronto. Our numbers are growing and our voices are getting louder. I am nog passive. My docter has a official warning in the Netherlands. I also wrote a letter to the Dutch Health Organisation and a had some publications in a paper. Especially in the Ukraine, where Bio-Alcamid in the 90s was discovered, they have experimented a lot. At one point they did not even breast enlargements along. They used huge quantities. Everything was sagging and there were unsightly bumps. "   Mr. Protopappa patented Bio Alcamid in Italy. Unfortunately the factory Polymekon is bankrupt.

yyzbooth. I've just come across this site. I applaud your courage for taking action. Words cannot describe what this product has stolen from my life. I'm ready to take pro-active measures. Someone needs to take accountability for this. The doctor who destroyed my face simply banished from the medical profession ("retired"). How can I join the activist group? I would be most greatful is someone could suggest a good doctor for removal.

Im going through long and painfull prosedure of removing bioalcamid from my face without a surgery . ut is a nightmare Im from Israel and lucky to find an expert in that area ....according to what iread there are many more like us....i dont get why you have to be cautious about it.....

Hi Marcanuck2, I live in Holland, not in Israël. My treatment was also in Holland. My treatment was partially successful. He did it with a really tiny liposuction needle. This brought a huge amount of bio-alcamid from my face. The main part of the Bio-Alcamid is gone. Unfortunately, a part of the Bio-Alcamid hardened and grown on my skin . This part can only removed with surgery, so I get a scar in my face.

Hi ,the doctors name in israel is dr oren goldan you are welcome to send me a mail and i will give you contact details nina333@walla.com my treatments to remove bioalcamid are about to end it is sucsessful, my doctor is usually able to remove up to 80%-90% of it. in my case it took a long period and many treatments it is not usually so....

there are no doctors in the world with any expertise on bio alcamid. Just a lot of posturing. The only thing to do is to start advocating your government. Look to facebook bio alcamid you might find something of interest

they say many things, made many claims that were certain of success. What they don't say is that it cannot be removed. Only bits of it and the procedure can have some serious problems. Be careful

No doctor in this world knows the final solution. They experiment all. Let it not be removed with a laser needle! I have seen people who have done this. They now have a permanent blue discoloration in their face. The tissue under their skin burned.

we have started an activist group here in Toronto. I've looked every where to find who invented this stuff. There have even been rumours that the product was invented in Russia and bought by the Italian guys. The trade mark registration filed in 2001 lapsed and still it was used even though the product's trademark registration was never completed. Scandalous! Look for bio alcamid on facebook and who knows what you might find?

thank you for your information in particular the reference to Ukraine. I had heard rumours that the brothers in Italy bought the rights to the product but was doubtful. I would love to know how to search the information of the product in Ukraine, how and who invented it. The patent was never completed by Mr. Protopappa is was registered but never completed. I understand that he knew about the problems before he even submitted for trade mark registration, which leads me to another question. How can anyone try to register a product which had already failed in such a large experiment as was done in Ukraine. Again, any information on how to extract information from Ukraine would be helpful. I read the Cyrillic alphabet so with some time I could even read articles published in Ukrainian. thank you for you help
