Dr. Torgerson and his clinic manager Brian sat down with me to discuss my hair restoration options. After a brief inquiry period, he took a few photos with his ipad and began explaining the process and sketching on the photos. It was a relaxing and informal discussion but it was informative as well - both Dr. Torgerson and Brian were polite, knowledgeable and not aggressive in their sales pitch. Like most people, I want results and I want them fast. The process of hair restoration is one that requires patience and tempering ones expectations. I came to understand that in order to reach my goals, I would likely require 2 separate surgeries. One to rebuild my hairline in the front. and one to properly densify my crown.
It didn't take me long to decide that this was the clinic I was going with. After booking my procedure I was provided literature, prescriptions and specialized creams and vitamins - all designed to maximize the success of my pending procedure. Leading up to the surgery and to present day, Brian has been an amazing with responding to every comment or concern I have had. Going at this without the support I have received would be stressful. He's even responded to emails during off-hours. To me that is what customer service is all about.
Instead of sheering me down before my procedure, I was sent to Miami Fades for a nice cut. It was a nice touch to have that instead of just being buzzed pre-surgery.
The day of my procedure went just as I was told it would. The surgery was broken down into two parts: The harvesting phase which seemed to fly by as I drifted in and out and the transplantation phase. The two parts were separated by a rest period and a warm lunch freshly made nearby. It was a long day but the technicians were all lovely and I enjoyed talking with them through out it all. I felt little to no pain and I was regularly asked how I was feeling. It went very well.
I am currently about 1.5 months post op, which is much to early to see any real progress. However, my new hairline is very much visible and I am extremely excited to have my youthful looks return. So far so good! I will definitely update when the time comes.

Dr. Torgerson is a nice guy who knows his stuff. He explained everything in detail and answered all of the questions I had. I like how he spoke to me like a person and not a paycheque. His staff are a pleasure to work with. The techs that performed my procedure were such lovely people and made the whole process very nice. The facilities are clean and modern - very comfortable. Overall, a great experience!
