Same old story as many others who turned to...

Same old story as many others who turned to microblading to gain confidence and those who were tired of doing their brows every day for years. Waited a couple years to actually trust someone to do my brows cus I was always so afraid that it would go wrong somehow. Well, IT DID. In a major way. It's been over 6 months since my touch up that I wish I never went for and I still hate my brows and struggle everyday trying to fill them in and even them out with pencil and brow pomade and whatever else.
I trusted a girl I worked with and had known for years who was now also doing cosmetic makeup. A good friend refered me to Eunice and since I had known her for 9 years, I truly trusted her. Saw some pics online of supposedly her work and was sold. She charged $400CAD and that included a touch up. In retrospect, now having googled for hours upon hours and having done so much research, I know why she did such a horrible job. For one, lack of experience in general and with different face shapes/types of skin. She used a cosmetic tattoo machine on me for the initial appointment and kept talking about needing a base first as I had almost no eyebrows. FAIL. I didn't want a base of color, I wanted natural microblading. Which I was so specific about. She made my brows way too close together. They were also two different shapes and not symmetrical which was prob my number 1 complaint. She used a terrible color that didn't match my brow hair color. And she didn't actually microblade. I pointed out my concerns to her when I sat up and saw what she had done. She assured me it would heal and look "super natural" which of course it didn't. I left slightly horrified but as they healed it did get better and I should have left them at that although I still had to fill them in and make minor corrections.
The touch up was awful. Eunice assured me she would do actually microblading and add hairstrokes and my brows would look great. She did the microblading but they got even more close together and way more asymmetrical. She was talking on the phone while doing my brows this time and her hairstrokes were WAY too close together. She didn't know what she was doing, and again assured me they would look great when all healed. They did not. They looked amateur and horrible.
I ended up telling her the truth of how I felt and how disappointed I was and they were not at all what I asked for. I ended up asking her for my money back and she eventually only gave me 50% back and she said that was generous. She also called me a b!tch in the etransfer message when she sent me the money. Eunice claims she made no error and she tattooed the shape I wanted. She has never admitted that she did a bad job or messed up. I am so resentful for the way i was treated and more so the fact that she had the audacity to butcher my brows when she didn't know what she was doing. She has continued to stay in business (and has upped her price!) and seems to have gotten better at microblading so I guess my face was practice for her which is just dispicable.
I've tried to use a retin-a cream to fade my brows and they have faded a lot since I first got them done but it now takes me longer than before to get ready and I hate taking pics...all I see is sharpie uneven angry bird brows. I would have been much better off with my awful but natural barely there brows I had before.

Was very nice at first, but struggled to draw my brows on initially and clearly lacking an eye for symmetry or how brows should look on one's face. Falsely advertised by offering microblading, yet used a cosmetic tattoo machine until my touch up appointment ⎌when she did use a microblade after returning from a microblading class she took in Asia. She did not respect any of the preferences I had discussed with her prior to tattooing my brows (symmetry, natural brows, no reddish-brown color, very sparse and natural in the front). She was very unprofessional at the touch up appointment i.e. talking on the phone while microblading my brows. Also showed extreme poor character and judgement by calling me a name once I was unhappy with her work and was asking for a refund.

Have you looked into laser removal, or even saline correction? Not sure you could do the saline correction since she used a machine, but it's worth looking into. I don't think they look horrible at all, but I think you did a much better job of creating a natural brow on your own. Don't know why she added so much to your arch it wasn't needed. BUT they look 100 times better than mine! If you want to see bad work you should check out my review I just left

I just saw your photos, yes mine are easier to camouflage than what you have been left with. I don't understand what these "artists" are thinking and how they can dare to work on people's faces and leave them looking so wrong. They do not have enough practice or natural ability to have an eye for these beauty procedures. Just because you took a damn course. Crazy. I hope yours fade a lot (I'm sure they will) and you can somehow find a solution to feel good about your brows again. I opted to not do saline removal as I read about scarring and I would need down time depending on how they healed initially etc. Honestly I'm too scared to take any additional chances with my brows right now. Same reasons for not doing laser removal. I'm self conscious about my brows as it is most days so imagine scabs from laser or saline remival..I can't.

P.S. I realize now how good I was at doing my brows and how much nicer they looked before and I would have been SO overjoyed with a proper professional microbalding job that complimented my face.

Actually these don't look like microbladed brows at all. Perhaps it's just the photo being taken too far away but they look like they were machine PMU'd not hand bladed. Also a before shot of your untouched brows would be a better judge on the symmetry. As stated in the industry, brows are sisters not twins, and that should have been explained to you during your consult. We can only work within the natural parameters of your own natural shape. Otherwise you will have a freakish mess when your natural brows grow back in. Finding the common denominator between the two and bringing both closest to that is the best we can do. That being said they do look like they were bladed outside of the sketched in lines and the arch has slipped further up and out. $300 is what a beginner charges and true professional charges $500-$700. I'm afraid you might have bargain shopped yourself into this situation. This work is not a true representation of an experienced artist. On the bright side if it was indeed hand bladed it's going to fade and it's not permanent.

As I explained in my story, yes she I initially did use a machine and only micro bladed on the touch up. Part of the reason why i was so unhappy and disappointed. I did not bargain shop at all, I paid $400 Canadian dollars which was a discount cus I was a "friend" down from $450 but I did the conversion to USD cus that's what realself was asking for. I would have paid two or three or four times the amount but the joke is that I went to this person because I knew her so I trusted her more. I thought I would feel more free to be honest and specific as to what I wanted and didn't think she would mess us my face because she knew me. Yes I def got what I paid for, I see that now but I would have happily paid more to get a good job done. Also, I did show her that EXACT pic of how I did my brows before and she said "oh wow, you really do them pretty light, ok I'm glad you showed me that picture..I'll use a lighter color then". So it seems like you think it's kinda all my fault and not hers, and to say that brows aren't supposed to match exactly fine...but two different shapes that make me look like I have an attitude is not acceptable. Part of the point of microblading for many is to correct and gain symmetry. So FAIL.

Hope you guys are better! I also had a bad experience and have done saline removal. I loss some hair during the scabbing process. My fault for taking out the scab prematurely. I also had laser removal and loss more hair. I'm hoping it's temporary. I still hate my eyebrows. Don't feel bad hopefully everything will get better for us.

Your brows don't look as bad as you think. It's probably overwhelming because they are more noticeable now.

I don't think your eyebrows look bad at all, I like them. It's hard to get use to such a big change on the face.
