Moob-job -- a 50th Birthday Present to Myself - Toronto, ON

I had had pointy nipples and puffy breasts since adolescence. I had never been very overweight, but even when I was slim the boobs were still there. So, approaching 50, and weighing 150 lbs and 5'11", I got the moobs liposuctioned away. The procedure included removal of my mammary glands, and removal of a small lipoma between my ribs.

Surgery was on Thursday afternoon. I was very stoned from the meds for the rest of the day. Next day I was bicycling around town on errands, though I was a little hungover. Saturday I was back at Zumba wearing an awkward compression vest.

Two weeks after surgery I have very small scars that look like they are disappearing, and my chest looks great. I am very happy with the outcome. I wish I had done it years earlier.

The experience at TMB was good. It's a very efficient setup. I saw very little of my surgeon. Most of the process was handled by the very friendly staff.
