Some before and afters. Can definitely see an improvement in saddle bags, going to have a little revision on the right hand side. (Technically left, but right side as you're looking at the pics).

Have a little thigh gap too, and inner knees much better - again, touch of revision on the right side as you're seeing it now.

You look great lp22! Your results are visibly remarkable. You were slim to begin with but I can definitely see the difference.

Update...swelling!! Ouch!!

lp22
So, today was my first day back at work, it's 5 days post surgery.

Ouch. Felt some pain, uncomfortableness, and also swelling! The main part of my job requires me to be literally on my feet in heels for 3 hours, and by the end of the three hours...I couldn't wait to sit down!!

Had my post-op check last night, Dr said everything is progressing nicely. I can't see as much of a difference today, I'm really hoping that is due to the swelling. I don't want to have to go in for a revision! I'm the worst patient, as I have no patience! I just want to get back to life, back to work, and for this to be over now!

Brusing fading, and at least that's something. Compression garment is a pain, I really love the hour in the morning when I take it off, take a shower...and reluctantly put it back on!

Still can see a difference, just not quite as much as I'd like for the price at the moment! (Price financially, and physically!). Will post a picture tomorrow, see how the swelling is coming along.

How are they now? I had my knees done and with the swelling (or what i hope is swelling) i can not tell a difference . I tried to keep my legs elevated but it was painful. One leg is more swollen than the other. Please let me know how your healing has progressed and if you have any tips. Thanks for sharing your story!

Hey! How are you doing now? You can definitely see a difference, I'll post some pictures. Although, my lower legs did get horribly swollen, and even three months on, still do sometimes.

I kept wearing the compression garments for a long time, I think it does help. Try Sankom leggings or yoga pants if you don't want the full compression garment, they're so comfy and effective.

Did you go to the same place as I did? I have another review tomorrow, there is a little unevenness present, and a few dents. Am wondering whether the difference between liposuction and lipo sculpture really should've played a bigger part in my decision! There are areas that are dented in, but then again, there is a difference and improvement to my saddlebags, and my inner knees are much better.

Thanks for the update! I am scheduled to have my mommy makeover and circumferential thigh lipo in 3 weeks. I am soooooo nervous. The lipo pain seems worst that the reviews from the tummy tuck. Are you still wearing the compression garment to reduce the swelling?
September 30, 2015
Hey! No, I wore for 6 weeks, it felt sooo weird taking it off! Ha. But now I'm used to it. I won't lie, it is painful. But, you'll be fine, I promise it's totally manageable. Just keep wearing the garment for as long as you can, and after that wear something like compression leggings etc, it'll really help. I was surprised how much I swelled in my lower legs, and feet, but it wasn't painful as such, just uncomfortable. Walk as much as you can, and massage etc as soon as you can.

Another pic of knees - feeling better on day 2!

lp22
Just a quick update, it's Sunday, I had the lipo on Friday. I'm walking fairly normally now, up and down the stairs, it hurts, don't get me wrong, but I could go back to work tomorrow if I had an office job.

I give long presentations and am on my feet for hours, so Im glad I have a couple more days, but definitely if I was sitting at a desk for the day, I could go back tomorrow.

Have attached a pic of my inner knees, that was a real trouble-spot for me, the pockets of fat on the inner knee. Again, I'm hoping that the swelling goes and I get an even better result as time goes on.

Dr Bendago called me both yesterday and today, to check how I was progressing, and I have a post-op on Tuesday. I was impressed with that, he didn't have to ring me personally, and I think that's the sign of a very good Dr.

Have taken a couple of 'normal' painkillers today, don't need more than that at the moment. I am aware though, that a lot of people say they get worse before better, so we'll see! :-)

I think the swelling will go down A LOT in a few weeks- regardless I can tell that you no longer have that bulge.  Definitely keep us posted on your continued healing!

Thanks Jill! I hope so, I can see a difference which I'm really pleased about, both with the knees and the saddlebags! I've got my post-op review tomorrow, so will see what the Dr thinks too. The compression garment is starting to drive me mad though, lol! Real self has been amazing, I'm addicted to it! :-)

The sooner you can learn to tolerate your CG the better ;)  Everyone seems to have a love/hate (or a hate/hate!) relationship with theirs.

Looking forward to hearing about what happens at today's appointment.

September 29, 2015
Wow! Your legs look great! I'm planning on getting rid of my fat pockets on my inner knees too. Thanks for posting!
September 30, 2015
Thanks!! They are definitely much better, had my three month post op review today, one IDE is a little uneven on the knee, and outer thigh, so will have minor revision done in Dec. I think you'll really see a difference, I always felt like I looked knock-kneed when I walked, you know kind of turned inwards, and now I feel much more confident in tight leggings etc.

Do you have a surgery date??
