I had syringomas removed approx. 5 weeks ago. The first few weeks were very stressful. All small pink/red holes under my eyes, esp. after a shower taking. I avoided a bright/direct light in the bathroom, when drying and carefully applying moisturizer. I have to say, it is starting to look so much better now. I drink plenty of fluids, and I see the light at the end of the tunnel. It is not even 70% normal, but I believe, little by little, my collagen production will fill up the scars eventually. Will give it 2-4 more months. Next time, I will ask more questions and do more careful research of a technician. Thanks to all the Doctors for their feedback and support!

I gathered all my patience and give it more time. I made an appointment with a laser specialist for skin tone evening. Just see, what they suggest. I realize, I have bags under my eyes, but due to the longevity of healing process (I work in customer service), I have to consider all details of this. I would probably look like a crying clown for a very long time.

Not much change since the last time,

though in winter season after a walk in the cold air, there is hardly any mark or scaring apparent. All the pores are closed and smooth. After a shower, I still have pink scaring, which diminishes rapidly and blends to almost normal skin colour within cca 3-5 minutes. The job was not done properly and I will have to go to a different technician for a correction. This time I let her do just 1 or 2 spots (gently) to avoid more damage.
