Day 70

All the pictures I've seen are of people standing so I wanted to show how different sitting down looks.

I'm at 104lbs now. I've lost 3 inches around my tummy. Still working out and eating healthy.

I think I can really see a difference here. It makes me happy

Day 55

Definitely can see a difference. Still working out 5 days a week. I'm at 109lbs. Diet wise, I haven't been eating as clean as I could be. I have been eating more protein, veges, and nuts. Soda free for 50 days. But how can I say no to ice cream??????

I'm roughly 110lbs. I am 5'4. My BMI is 18.9. I have always been "skinny" but I was never comfortable wearing tight clothing because I had a protruding belly to the extent that my friends would poke me and my family would laugh at me. When I was in high school and had gym 5 days a week, I still had this belly. When I cut carbs, I still had this belly.

I went for a consultation for liposuction and was quoted at $6300CAD. The procedure itself seemed invasive and the risks didn't seem worth it for me. I later discovered coolsculpting. I was quoted at $2200CAD. It was noninvasive, the downtime was minimal, and I felt comfortable at the clinic I went to.

I had three treatments on October 5th, one medium upper abdomen, and two medium on the lower abdomen. I wanted to use one large across my lower abdomen. I was told that was the norm, but my skinny frame didn't fit the applicator. The session was three hours total.

It was extremely painful. The suctioning of the applicator hurt. It was extremely bad the first 5 minutes, but it was still quite bad for the rest of the hour. I was told I could bring my homework with me, so I did. But I didn't touch it. I had my eyes closed almost the entire time. Staff put on Friends and then The Office for me so I listened to that in the background. It was a nice distraction but whenever I laughed, it hurt. I was told the pain was due to the applicators being so close to my ribs. I had slight bruising the next day.

After the procedure it was numb but the pain was gone. Then days 1-5 seemed brutal to the extent that I just wanted to stay in bed and not go to school or work. After that it was fine.

About one week after coolsculpting I was motivated to start working out and eating completely clean. It's been about 40 days and I have not touched soda or chocolate of any kind. I've been eating bigger breakfasts and smaller dinners. I've included more protein and fiber in my diet. I've been working out an hour a day, five days a week. It consists of squats, lunges, push ups, hip thrusts, crunches and planks. All in all, I feel a lot better.

Tummy wise, I don't see any improvements. I didn't expect to and I'm not really impatient. I don't examine my tummy everyday obsessively. I trust the process and hope to see results at about 90 days.

I've included two pictures of my tummy when I'm sitting down. I will update at 90 days or sooner if I see major results.
