Scar tissue removal & replacement - Toronto, ON

am perhaps the most impatient, high maintenance person, who can make for a very difficult client. My expectations are very high. I had breast augmentation almost 20 years ago (under the muscle/saline). In 2006, I developed scar tissue in the left breast and had a capsulectomy and replacement of the implants with a different surgeon. In 2013, I developed scar tissue again in the left breast. I went to see Dr. Martin Jugenburg. His office was convenient for me and I was very impressed with his credentials, reviews, and before and after pictures of his work. He is young. Do not allow this to sway you. Some people equate age with experience/qualifications/expertise. I find that a younger doctor has a better grasp of the latest technology, a better understanding of his/her patient expectations and is easier to relate to. I liked him. I also loved his staff! Nora and Kim were always very patient with me and always responded to the countless emails I sent. Kim took the time out of her busy day to call me when I had questions. My surgery was scheduled for May 2, 2014. I did have a complication given the fact that this was the second surgery to remove scar tissue (I was advised by other surgeons that this was likely). Dr. Jugenburg made sure that I was attended to immediately by scheduling a second surgery to remove a seroma. I had many questions after the surgery and sent several emails daily to him personally. What impressed me most was that he responded to every email, regardless of the time (sometimes - past midnight!). Not once did he sign off “Dr. Jugenburg”, but always “Martin”. I am still just a few weeks post surgery, but I know that I have this incredible surgeon and his team to depend on to see me though to recovery! I highly recommend Dr. Jugenburg. There are many reasons why he is ranked as the number one Plastic Surgeon in Ontario, he is personable, skilled and bright (and he is easy on the eyes!). He also has an incredible staff to support you along the way!
