One year later...

Haven’t been on it a long time. I feel 1000% better since taking the implants out. I have so much more range of motion and strength. I can finally work out. I feel much closer to my hubby when we hug. Sensation is coming back to my nipples now which is such a nice surprise. I can wear cute bras and I look normal/proportionate again. I felt self-conscious with my massive fake boobs, now I feel confident, strong and like myself again.
As for how they look...they look totally normal and exactly how they did before I got implants. They looked absolutely brutal after the surgery. It took about 6 months for them to look “normal” and then gradually things started looking better and better. They are small, but they are soft and healthy. I have never once regretted having them removed.

Hello. I have been following stories of implant...

Hello. I have been following stories of implant removal on here for the last two years. This site has been a source of Major encouragement and I thank everyone before me who posted their story! Now that I have my removal surgery booked I want to do my part by sharing for other women going through this process. I had my implants put in 4 years ago. 425 cc's submuscular textured shell silicone. I was hoping for bodacious cleavage but instead I have extra firm, unnatural, robot-esque breasts that do not squeeze together nicely at all. Every time I move my arms or use my chest muscles at all they move in unnatural ways and look distorted. I am extremely active and it bothers me a lot to feel them getting squeezed against my chest/ribs when I do anything athletic. The left side has been painful since day one and has capsular contracture which is pulling it upward into my armpit and creating a very odd profile at the bottom where my natural breast tissue and skin is essentially hanging off it. It's looked like that since the first week after my BA and I hate it. I just want them out. Like, now. I am definitely concerned about what they might look like afterwards. I am expecting them to be deflated looking, but I am hoping that they will return to how they looked before the BA. The implants haven't been in for that long so I'm hoping there won't be too drastic of a change from before. Surgery is booked for June 6. Will be getting a full Capsulectomy and drains. I was hoping to avoid that but surgeon insisted so I am following his advice. I feel excited to have full range of my arms back and to be able to do push-ups and any kind of arm workout. I feel excited to wear pretty bras and bathing suit tops again rather than industrial strength DD or E cup granny bras. On the other hand I feel scared that I have no breast tissue left and that I'll look like a 90 year old when I take my bra off. However, other women's results have definitely taken the edge off those fears. Most of the stories I've followed are of women expressing huge relief and their boobs look natural and beautiful after. I am hoping for the same!! Wish me luck!
