BA 4 month post op update no lift
Well, to the surgeons with the negative opinions stating my BA wouldn't turn out well with or without a lift, take a look at my results!!!
For the 1st time ever, I'm in love with my breast and I absolutely love results!!! I had no doubt in my surgeon, Dr. Kara. He was confident in his evaluation that a lift was not necessary nor worth the risk and amount of scaring that I would have had, especially with darker skin. To refresh, we selected a Dual Plane Inframammary Incision (not Subglandular as recommended by another surgeon for a better cosmetic/lift look without an actual lift), Round Silicone High Profile 445cc's, which put me in a 32DDD/32E depending on the bra.
I can not stress enough the importance of having more than one opinion. I had consultations with two separate surgeons and all the assistance/feedback from the numerous surgeons on this site. Super, super helpful. Can't thank the surgeons enough for both the positive and even the not so encouraging feedback. It helped with my decision tremendously. There is definitely more than one way to skin a cat and I'm not saying that the opinion of the 2nd surgeon would not have also had great results but it is important to know your options. I did not want the scars involved with a lift and based on my research my preference was still under the muscle. Dr. Kara exceeded my expectations and was confident he could achieve great results but more importantly, the results I visualized and the technique I preferred.
I highly recommend Dr. Kara and I thank him dearly for changing my life!

Wanted to thank all of the surgeons for their feedback to both of my questions. I decided that Dr. Kara was the best fit for me in terms of his technique that I felt was best suited for me and he was absolutely fantastic! As was his consultant Gina Shalizi. Great team.
I'm two weeks post op and selected 445cc round silicone high profile implants, dual plane, inframammary incision. I will be honest, I was very overwhelmed when I first saw them. Frankenboob!!! I'm 5'2, about 125 lbs with a curvy, muscular build. Fairly large implant for my size but the size couldn't be more than perfect! They are coming along very nicely in terms of taking shape and dropping. If I could say one thing only its patience a is key! I went from a struggling 34b to what looks like will end up full d. Thought I would show you my progress.
