2.5 weeks post op

So here I am 18days post-op already! Times honestly flown by fast. Just thought Id post a quick update on how my experience has been thus far... I'm feeling pretty good. Noticing my breasts drop little by little every day & they are getting a bit softer (although they still feel harder than Id like but Im only 2.5weeks out & the Dr J said it will take 3 months for final results so I have a long way to go). Today for the first time I realized that pain in my left arm (when its extended) is thankfully going away. Not that it hurt, it was just more unfcomfortable more than anything. Ive also noticed over this past week that my nipples have been SUPER sensitive, but that is also subsiding... For the first 2 weeks after surgery they were constantly swollen & appeared bigger than expected, but in this past week I've noticed that they've come down a lot (almost to their original size- maybe a tad bigger) & look great.
Im back at work and moving throughout the day with ease. The main thing I notice is by the end of the day Im physically exhausted & just want to come home to rest. Even though Im feeling good, my body is still using energy to heal & I definitely feel it when I get home at night. I've been constantly massaging whenever I get the chance, and been wearing the surgical bra &lower strap 24/7. As for the upper strap, when I go out I usually take it off unless Im wearing a chunky sweater to hide it. When I get back home, the strap goes back on...
Last thing I'll comment on are my incisions. I can't believe how good my right one is healing- it already looks like a natural crease in my armpit (besides the stitch at the end which still hasnt dissolved). As for the left- its still looking meaty but I can tell its healing itself. I haven't put anything on it (don't even wear deodorant- thankfully I don't smell). I'm going to wait until 1month post op & if its still looking a bit ugly then I'll maybe get a topical to put on it & heard massaging it will help it go down quickly.
Ok there's my update! Love how I look & everyone whose seen me cannot believe how natural they are. I'm so happy already & with time they're just going to get better. If you're thinking about BA definitely consider going to Dr.J.. you won't be disappointed!

5 days post op

Just a quick review on how my past few days went. Day1&2- not too bad, was on the perks so didn't feel much pain. Day3-switched to T3s, definitely felt more discomfort. I found day3 emotionally challenging (bobbie blues) & honestly doubted my decision with BA. I think it was a combination of the meds, the discomfort, the tightness & uncomfortableness of it all. Day 4 I woke up feeling super nauseous and it pretty much lasted all day. Half way through the day I switched to Tylenol extra strength & took some woman's laxatives to help with the bowel movements as I hadn't gone since prior to the surgery... This day was pretty much a write off as being a 'sick day'. Day 5 (today) I woke up feeling MUCH better. It was the first day I woke up feeling somewhat normal. I kept up with the tylenol extra strength (2 pills about every 7hours as oppose to every 4), which is encouraging as I've come a long way with in the pain/discomfort department. As for my breasts, I'm loving the way they are looking. Every morning I notice they get a little bit softer and seem to slowly be dropping. Still my right breast is harder than my left. Been wearing my surgical bra and straps pretty much all day, but found a bit of time today to go to Vic Secret to get sized. I was thinking I would be a 34C but to my surprise I was a 34D! I didn't think there was a way I was going to fill it, but sure enough I did. They're still top heavy, but as they drop I think they will fill in the D cup perfectly. As for the incisions, theres still soreness from both sides. One side looks as if its healing perfect flat (its hard to even see it) but the other one is a little bit meaty looking....
Going for my follow up tomorrow so I'll write another update afterwards.
