2 Days Post

I feel very uncomfortable today. I'm so bloated that I look like I'm pregnant. My boobs are swollen and when I tried on clothes I felt that I looked like a football player. I feel very wide across my chest. Also, my chest feels very tight and heavy and my surgical bra is digging in to me :( . The only good thing is that I am having less trouble sitting down and getting up by myself.

I had my 2 day check up today. I was originally told I would have to wear a strap but Dr. Goldberg told me they are already sitting properly so I don't need one (woot woot). He also told me that day 3 is usually the worst and everything gets better from here. Looking forward to the next few weeks!

Pain & Pics

So the pain has been little hard for me. At first I was able to get up and move around by myself. After a couple of hours I needed my boyfriend's help to get up off the couch to go to the washroom, I needed help to sit back down, and I needed help to get into bed last night and get out of it this morning. If I moved my arms and chest, even a little bit, I would be in pain.

Today has been better. I woke up at 5 a.m. and took 2 Tylenol 3's along with the rest of my medications. I had a protein shake and tried to eat some toast but was feeling very nauseous so I sat down hoping the feeling would pass. It didn't. I was sick. I drank a little bit of coffee that my boyfriend had went to get me and then fell asleep on the couch.

When I woke up I felt a little stiff and sore but I was able to get of the couch by myself. I ate some fruits and toast and took 2 T3's and have been feeling pretty good the rest of the day.

I've snuck a look at my new twins and like the way that they look so far. I'm going to try to not get worried or make judgements about them until they have had some time to heal. But I am happy!

Provider Review

Certified Plastic Surgeon
190 Sherway Dr., Toronto, Ontario

I went into my consultation with a list of questions written down. He took the time to answer all of my questions and I didn't feel rushed. He definitely eased my mind and I didn't feel like I was being pressured into anything.
