It's been over a year since my last update and I am very happy with my results! My scars are pretty much invisible and I'm happy with the size! I wish I had had the guts to do this years ago when I first wanted to but I was scared of what people would think. If it's something you want do your research and go for it!

I went back to dr Lista's and tried on full
Profile sizers for the first time and I'm finally confident I picked the right size:) my balance is paid and all my paperwork is done. Now I'm excited!! Any advice for setting up a room and bed to make recovery as comfy as possible? I'm going shopping tomorrow any must have things I should get before surgery?

I can't wait to hear about your experience :) I saw Dr. Lista this week too for my first consultation/sizing etc. and so now it's up to me to decide if I want to go through with it! I am also 29 with no kids and wondered if I should wait until after I have kids since it's sort of that "in between" age, did that affect your decision at all? My frame is a little different - I am 5'6" around 125lbs and 350cc was on the smaller end for what I was hoping for. 400cc SEEMS big with the sizers but Dr. Lista said they do look a little smaller once they're actually in place, plus...9/10 women wish they went a little bigger, so...we'll see!
I was trying to decide between those size ranges too. I went with 400cc and very happy I did :) Good luck!
Having kids did make me put it off for years but I don't know when or if I'll be ready for kids and just figured might as well be happy now! It's a tough choice though I totally know how you feel. Is it better to wait or hope that they won't look too bad after pregnancy (I at least think they will look better with implants after pregnancy than without)
As for the the sizing I had such a hard time figuring out what I wanted... He gave me from 250cc to 345cc and I went with bigger on his recommendation scale. I hear he's great with natural looking breasts so I'm sure any of the sizes will be good! Good luck!! It's exciting!
Your coordinator will give you a list of things for day of surgery :) PJ's with button up top, warm robe, slippers. as far as at home I had extra strength tylenol ( no advil) a water bottle with straw, gingerale, snack foods, PRUNE JUICE for constapation, ( I bought a jar of prune/apple juice in baby food section) a couple of loose fitting zip up hoodies, loose fitting comfy track pants a few easy on tanks WITHOUT the built in bras. EXTRA PILLOWS to prop yourself up, mild soap to wash incisions I used baby wash, dry shampoo as you can't shower until second day after surgery. Good Luck! you are in good hands with Dr Lista and his team! :)
Awesome thank you so much Mumster you've really been a big help through all of this! Even just seeing your results and how well you look and handled everything makes me so much more comfortable and confident going into this!
You are most welcome! I know it's stressful, I was so nervous but it was over before I knew it I woke up with boobs! LOL the recovery nurses are amazing, you'll see another nurse the next day. I wasn't able to wear my winter coat for the first week because I was afraid of it being tight on my armpits, so have a blanket in the car for the ride home and the next day when you come back in your pjs/ robe.. don't worry theres a separate entrance :) very excited for you so please update! :)
I had to stay at a hotel the night of surgery as well. I packed a cooler with ginger ale and lots of water. Make sure to have snack type foods on hand for taking your medication. I had a box of bread sticks for taking meds. I only needed two pillows to be comfy at the hotel. The meds you're on really help you sleep well. Be sure to bring a neck pillow though. It's key!
My husband kept a neck pillow and blanket in the truck for when he picked me up to bring me to the hotel. He had time to go check in and set up the hotel as I was in surgery.
I also found that having a pill organizer was critical to have. You truly can't open the medication bottles. My husband helped me with organizing them. I brought my iPad to the hotel so I could keep myself entertained but I found that I did a lot of sleeping instead.
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask!
Dr ListAs team is excellent. You're in good hands.

Thanks Mumster! I never even thought about not being able to wear a jacket after surgery. I'm packing now so I have everything I need and I put lots of clean blankets in the car! Were you able to open doors after the first week of surgery? I have until February 3rd off and I'm worried about getting in and out of the office.
I'm excited now only 2 more sleeps without boobs!
I wore my hubby's jacket for the first weekend. Doors I avoided for the first week then the second week I would use the automatic door button whenever I could just to be safe but I was able to do it if necessary and had my full range of motion back. Looking forward to your updates! Good luck!! :)
Thanks Irenebean! I have lots of car blankets and snacks packed for Monday. I'm going to check in the night before surgery just in case there is bad weather and traffic. And I have a nice new pill organizer too! I've never had to take so many pills before but I'm sure it will be worth it!
To be honest I'm getting a little nervous right now but I think I'm excited too. I just want to be on my way to recovering.

Surgery booked!
I finally committed to a date :) January 25th with dr.Lista!! I'm so excited and nervous at the same time. I'm petite so the max he said he would do was 345cc hp smooth round cohesive gel implants. I'm not sure if that's going to be big enough since the clinic only had 350 moderate implants. I also don't have a family doctor so I'm not sure how to get my pre op physical... Has anyone else had experience getting a physical without having a family doctor?

The physical is for height weight, blood pressure, etc. try a walk in clinic?
Hi there, i'm basically the same size as you, albiet an inch taller. I'm not having any work done for a few months though as i've got a skiing holiday to get out the way and dont think that is a good activity post op!.... I am perhaps slightly addicted to research whether it be about buying a tv, getting a new phone or new boobs so i'm not speaking from experience just from what i've discovered from weeks and weeks of fact finding!....... I would say 345cc is easily enough to get a C cup, more like a D i'd say, i'm in london and european tastes are more conservative than in north america (for example, over here 80% of boob jobs are anatomical whereas over there 80% are round).i have often seen on here when someone is undecided between 2 sizes is everyone saying go for the bigger one as it isn't much of a difference but if someone of our size puts on a few pounds its much more noticeable than if a girl a bit bigger than us does, i suppose it depends if you want people to look at you and think 'she's had a boob job' or 'she looks great, i wonder if she's had a boob job'......
Thanks Mumster! I got it all done today :)
Yay!! Awesome you got it all done!!
Ok good to know thanks aachrisse! I like to research too ... Maybe too much. I just want to know what to expect so I'm not shocked or disappointed! Size wise I think 345 is a good fit! I do not want boobs to be the first thing people notice about me lol
