It was a good experience, even though i didnt get the size that i wanted, i was informed that its not safe to remove to much fat. I am overall happy with my results, I am def getting another BBL to get the size that i wanted in the first place though. I like the fact that I have no love handles and a overall better shape. The surgey went very well, and i am loving my new shape and body. I feel more confident in my skin and close even in bathing suits. He was able to give me a shape that I never had before including nice hips. The only thing that I wish is that I was aware that I wouldnt be able to get the size that I wanted, I asked for 800 cc's in each cheek but only got 500cc. I dont see a dramatic change at all but i do see some what of a fuller butt. I was 40 hips size when I went into surgey, day after i was 44hips, and now 2 weeks later I am a 42, I am hoping it wont get any smaller though.

Update:

Hello, I have had surgey on Feb 27th in Toronto, I been reading up on these BBL topics to try and get the best results. On the day of my surgey I made it clear to the doctor that I would like 800-900 cc in each bum cheek including hips, I also showed him a picture of what I was kinda aiming for in looks and size. After the surgey I woke up and i asked the doctor how much was injected into my bum due to the fact that I didnt feel anything dramatic to the size, I was imformed that there was only 500 cc in each cheeck due to the fact that 1000 cc of my fat was not good fat and too bloodly ... is this possible?

Anyways I went for my 1 week check up and i told that doctor that the worst part is that i cant sit and i have to lay on my stomach, he also informed me that, thats not true that i am able to sit down on my butt and it shouldnt affect it because he had injected fat in that place. Well i was ready on this topic on this sites, from hundreds of doctors from the states and they were saying something completely different, so i stuck with what i have been reading and I havent been sitting and trying to avoid sitting directly on my butt for long periods of time.

I am week 2 as of this day and i have went for a 44 after surgey in hip size to now a 42, i am scared that the more swelling that goes down the more of the butt size that i am going to loose, I am forever looking in the mirror knowing that I have add only 500 cc injected and i beleive for some reason i am going to loose it all. A few days ago i was crying to my husband because of the results are changing dramaticly and i have saved up for a year for this surgery, i have exstermly hard bumps on my stomach which hurt and stick out, my stomach is also hangy and skin looks nasty, my butt has dimples now and not big at all, well in my eyes anyways.

I need a soluation and advice, is it to early to work out i am on week 2, and i wanna work out to increase the size of my butt and try to fix my stomach and back area due to all the bumps? when does the swelling go down? Can i have another BBL soon to increase the size that I wanted in the first place?

Hey there, welcome and thanks for sharing your story with us!

I'm sorry you're having a bit of a rough time at the moment. I haven't actually had the BBL myself, but from what I've read from the other ladies, you shouldn't be sitting on it right away, as it can damage the fat.

I'm sure some of the other BBL ladies will jump on soon and give you some support and advice! Please do keep us updated with your progress!

Sweetness, I'm sorry to hear that you are not happy with your results. There is nothing worse than saving up money, exerting the efforts to prepare your body and mind for the results and recovery period, and only be disappointed in the end :( First of all, you are certainly right that a post-op BBL patient should not sit on her butt due to the heightened risk of fat reabsorption. That your doctor did not recommend this gives me pause - not all doctors are created equal when it comes to this sx. It is relatively new and even though some doctors think they know what they're doing and will reassure you, I urge you to do your research and explore your options. Second, I'm not sure that superior BBL doctors are in Canada. Therefore, when you go for your second round , please consider American doctors. Some of the most popular doctors include Salama, Jimmerson, and Salzhauer. And if you're considering a low cost doctor, you may think about contacting doctors in Mexico - Campos, Cardenas, Pantoja - or those in the Dominican Republic - Yily ( I do not recommend Cabral due to his significant malpractice history). All these doctors give certain phenotypes that are relatively unique; please take your time and find the doctor that is best for you and your body shape! Third, all the lumps and bumps you are experiencing are pockets of fluid that need to be massaged out! Please find a lymphatic massage therapist asap. You may be developing seromas and scar tissue that will adversely affect your results and the efficacy of your second round. Massage Envy offers specials for lymphatic massages, but please be sure to double check with the locations nearby your home. May I also recommend a personal ultrasound massager? If you have hard problems areas, the ultrasound heat will slowly break down these areas and eventually produce smooth, even skin. Check out amazon and ebay for discounted prices. Fourth, are you using compression garments to control your swelling? Lipoexpress, Vedette, and Squeem are popular kinds of compression around here and I, again, encourage you to explore your options. The right cg is imperative for good results. Fifth, I would hold off from working out your butt at 2 weeks post-op. Your body is still healing and you don't want to put your body under additional strain so soon. After 6 - 8 weeks , however, feel free to hit the gym. Try some weighted squats and lunges - high weight, low reps - to increase your gluteaus (sp?) maximus and minimus - and also do some light cardio. Finally, of course you can do a round 2 - it is very common for women to do so when they are unsatisfied with their initial results or they just succumb to beauty greed LOL! However, you usually have to wait at least 6 months before you can undergo another BBL sx. That being said, I would try to book your consultation/sx asap because this surgery is becoming incredibly popular and booking the most popular doctors not only entails higher expenses but also a longer waiting period for an open spot! I hope this helped :) I have a comprehensive review in my profile and I encourage you to read it for more tips and hints! Let me know if you have anymore questions - I am happy to help. Good luck xoxox

Hello sweetie! Yes its been almost a year and I lost everything and I am actually fatter then I was before the bbl, plus I still have a really hard lump still on my side. I fully decided to undergo again another bbl in March which will be a year exact. I have strongly considered Dra. Duran in DR. I have emailed her and have had a responds. I am just need to take pics to see the cost I am looking at. I will keep you updated ;-)
