I was very keen on getting a nose job and a chin...

I was very keen on getting a nose job and a chin implant this past summer due to my "butt" chin (really wasn't that bad, I just have a dimple in the middle) and my nose being asymmetrical and appearing bigger on one side. After going to two plastic surgeons, I decided to go with the second one, Dr. Born, since I've had friends go to him and family members have had procedures done by him. When I went to my consultation (booked it about 3 months in advance I think) he said he didn't recommend surgery but that I should try fillers first since it might solve the insecurities I had. At the time, I didn't think my nose was too big, I just didn't like the hump on it/asymmetry. I decided to book an appointment to get Restylane fillers underneath my eyes (to make my nose appear smaller due to the fullness around it), on my nose to straighten it and make the hump appear smaller, and in my chin to increase the size of it and decrease the dimple.

I went to my appointment a couple months later and they froze my face and injected the fillers. I'm not too confident around needles so after they froze my entire face they gave me a drink to help me not be light-headed. It's funny, I was so excited about getting fillers but I didn't actually realize how many needles would be in my face until I was in the seat, freaking out.

After I got the fillers, I really liked it. Not going to lie, it was not a major difference but subtle enough. I'll list the things I liked about it now:

1. My nose looked very symmetrical after
2. Hump in my nose was significantly smaller/non-existent
3. Under eyes looked fuller
4. Chin was bigger, dimple decreased

The things I didn't like about/didn't care for:

1. I don't think filler in the under eyes made my nose look smaller. Although I think I looked slightly better, I don't think I'll be getting it again since it made such an insignificant difference.
2. My nose looked better from the front and definitely from the side I didn't like before (the side of my nose where you could really see the hump vs. the other side my nose looked like a cute slant) but overall made it look bigger and made me more insecure about side profile pictures/side profile in general
3. Still had a small dimple in my chin. I wanted it fully gone.
4. After getting my wisdom teeth out a month or two later and my mouth was open for an hour during the procedure, I stopped seeing/feeling the filler. I just thought it I was going crazy but it's been 6 months now and I'm confident it's completely gone.

I think Dr. Born is a really great doctor and the facility is amazing, but I don't know if it was worth it for me. I've decided to book another appointment to get more filler in my chin but I do want to get a nose job and possibly a chin implant in the future. Fillers are only a short-term solution so if I decide to keep getting filler it would make the most sense to get a chin implant just because of money reasons.

If anyone would like to view photos from now/before my procedure that aren't the ones they took, let me know I'll post some.
