Drainage tubes gone!!!!
$8,400
So today, I said goodbye to my drain tubes. I was nervous they would hurt coming out, but they didn't. The nurse was great!! She said, take a deep breath and they were out!! I feel so much better. My walking improve as soon as I left the office, and my back feels better. I can now sleep on my side, and take a shower without my 9 year old daughter helping me by holding my tubes. Lol Also, a lot of my swelling has gone down. I'll have pictures coming soon of me at 2 weeks, which will be this Thursday.

One week!
Well, today made a week since I had my TT. I'm walking a little more upright now, which is a relief to my back. Lol. My only sad new is I was supposed to get my drains taken out today, but I still have too much drainage so I have to keep them til Monday!:( I still have some swelling, but my ps said, everything looks good and I'm healing nicely. I will continue, to post my journey.

Glad your recovery is going well. I hope you get some relief from the swelling in the coming days/weeks. I am having the exact same surgery done on the 3rd of Nov. Thank you for posting your experience.

Today:(
Today was horrible,!!! I was sick most of the morning. I was vomiting, which was terrible!! The pain that shot through my tummy!!! I can't even explain, the pain I felt!! My belly feels so tight, I think because I haven't had an bowel movement since last week. My husband called, my ps and he wrote me a prescription for my upset stomach and vomiting. Finally, I'm feeling a little better.

Call me if you are not better after the medicine. pain medication can cause nausea and constipation. You should be feeling better now!
I am!! Thanks for everything.
