Well I'm almost 2 weeks post op. I called on Friday cause I didn't lime a spot that d idnt seem to been healing. My Dr wasn't in the office so I made an appt. Sat I started not feeling so great but I didn't really have any drainage. Now it's Sunday and I've def have problems. I'm draining quite a bit now. I think it's the T in section under my left breast. As of tonite I'm saturating a panyliner every 2 hrs. I knew when I went in to check on the insision and took the panyliner off I literally began dripping drainage. At this point I called the Dr . His bedside manor was.....non-exsistant. I already had an appt for tomorrow afternoon so ill b in there. I'm not sure what's happened? It just seemed like my recovery came to an abrupt stop! I'm assuming ill get some antibiotics.....I just want to heal. So my stress level is souring at this point !

Are you smoking or using any nicotine? Stop if you are. Wash gently with antibacterial soap, use bactracin or triple antibiotic ointment and cover them up. I know that some of them say not to use the triple antibiotic but it helped me. My ps advised me to use it. Good luck. That sounds terrible.

1 Week Post Op

I'm 1 week out today. I'm healing as expected. Whoever said recovery wasn't bad....the devil is a lie! I myself find it painful. If I could snap my fingers and get thru this faster.....i would. Best part is....my breasts don't sink into my armpit when I'm laying down. Today is my 1 week post op appt. It's amazing the transformation ur body goes through along this journey.

I am with you on the recovery. I am just over 4 weeks post op and I had plenty of pain. I still have swelling but the pain has just started getting much better the last week. It is by no means easy like some of the doctors say. That's a crock of crap.

This is the night of the surgery. I guess I wasn't expecting all the brusing under my left armpit. My left breast had tissue taken out because it was bigger than right. Maybe that's why I'm so bruised. Also they wrapped me so tight for bleeding and swelling I think that's making me very uncomfortable. As far as my breast they are sore but it's not to terribly bad yet! Looking forward to Fri...my big reveal :) I'll b able to unwrap them and see them for the first time.
