Top and bottom lip reduction - still way too early to judge

I'm currently 3 days post op, I had lip Reduction in turkey under local anaesthetic on the 16.2.22, I would say it was painful when the dr was injecting my lips to numb it, worst pain ever (for me personally). However I could not feel the the procedure being done, but there were times where it did feel a bit uncomfortable, especially when it was being snitched up. After my procedure, my lips felt very tight, I was continuously dribbling which I'm still doing even now, the swelling was very scary, I'll upload pics, originally I had very very big lips, and the size doubled with swelling. Today it's not as bad, I haven't really needed any pain killers, although I did take a few here and there, but pain levels, was quite moderate. I just apply two different creams to it 3 times a day which somehow makes it feel a bit better. And I also apply ice to it twice a day. I'm currently staying in the hotel and refusing to go out, as I do not want to be seen like this. But obviously when I do need to go out, I'll wear a mask. I have a check up with the dr on Monday and I fly back to the Uk on Tuesday, It's still way too early to judge, I just hope I haven't made the wrong decision getting this procedure done .
