WORTH IT
I came into see Dr Bryan Mendelson after I had some cheeky implants done with another doctor that didn't turn out as well as expected. My first consultation was one of the best consultations with a surgeon I have ever had, Dr Mendelson asked me about my life to start with and made me feel so comfortable before we talked about my concerns. I told Dr Mendelson what I wanted and he told me what he thought and we came up with a treatment plan together. I left feeling comfortable and knowing exactly what I was in for. We had a few more consultations and then I had the procedure. Dr Mendelson and he's staff put me at ease on the day of the procedure and I woke up in the hospital feeling fine. Because Dr Mendelson knows what he is doing with the hydroxyapatite the healing process was easy and I was left with no scarring. I would highly recommend Dr mendelson and his staff for this procedure and any other procedure if you are looking for the best and most professional service.

Why did you need to be put to sleep for the Radiesse (not sure if they call it that where you are, but it's the same substance.) Or was that for the lift? What is a half-lift -- is that like the lower face neck and jaw lift?
The type of hydroxyapatite Dr Mendelson used is not the injectable Radiesse. It's a past that is applied directly over the bone through surgery. Over time the patients natural bone will incorporate into the hydroxyapapatite creating a permanent result.
Is the paste molded beforehand?
Any issues with the coral since the surgery ? I am thinking about getting cheek augmentation/cheek lift done with this surgeon as well.
would really like to get more return about the hydroxyapatite implant too. is it till fine ?
Are you also considering hydroxyapatite with dr. Mendelson ?
Came across this today.old post yes.
These claims are useless w/o any photos or follow up. I have 1st hand experience with hydroxyapatite cheek aug and mid face lift w/another Dr. I’m guessing that’s what the op meant by half face.. my results were very disappointing. Even after several revisions the results were not any better, only diff. I had consultation with Dr Byrd Who is considered a specialist with using this material. He couldn’t help me,referred me to Dr Mendelson. Contacted Dr Mendelson by email. He replied with an email telling me I was blowing this way out of proportion and I should take a step back and be grateful for other things in my life.. WTF!! The short answer is: do not do this procedure. The results are not symmetrical and they are mostly permanent. No other Surgeon will even touch this now.Seems it can’t be fixed w/o causing more problems. Worst decision I’ve made.
