Born with Left Eye Ptosis, It is Getting More Apprent with Age

UPDATED FROM kittycatz

Here I am 4 years later, and going for another consultation

My Eyes have aged a bit since the last post, both the regular eye and droopy eye. I am once again going to get an opinion on what can be done. My left eyebrow has become much higher on my brow than the right as it fights to keep the eyelid up. I am starting to hate photos of myself because the droopy eye is always small with the lid low.I am going to see Dr. Dan Straka in Columbus, Ohio next week. I am so excited to hear what he says! I like the almond shape of my eyes, and I am hoping for just a bit more youthful and symmetrical look.

Did you end up doing it?
UPDATED FROM kittycatz

Not happening

The occuler surgeon did not recommend surgery, be was against it. One eyelid is 4 mm off. He said it is not posits but just the way my eyes formed. Both eyes are the same exact amount open, but the lids are different. I am just going to embrace it :)

You are gorgeous and the eyes are both beautiful. Your difference with each eye sets you apart from everyone else...
Thank God, I don’t want anyone ruining your beautiful eyes like they did mine
ORIGINAL POST

I noticed a few years ago that my left eyelid...

I noticed a few years ago that my left eyelid looked lower in photos. I then looked back into photos from when I was a baby and realized this was something I have always had, but never noticed until recently because before it was not very obvious in my younger years.

I thought I was the only person that noticed my eye, so I was ok with it. But one day, someone asked me if I knew my eyes were two different sizes. They thought it was cute and quirky, but I was horrified that it was so noticeable. So now I have made an appointment with an ocular surgeon to get an estimate of the cost of fixing it. I hope my insurance covers it.

Hi, I too was born with the same problem and I never noticed it. An eye doctor pointed it out to me and yes my insurance paid. Have you had yours done? How did it go?
