I had liposuction of the abdomen, flanks, back and pubis mins area. (The pubis mins area has been "poofy" since my tummy tuck a few years ago, I read that this sometimes happens) My surgery was at 8:00 yesterday morning. Yesterday was good, not a lot of pain, rested comfortably, very little drainage. Today, however, I am really feeling the pain! If I lay still I'm not in any pain at all. But since I'm being a good little patient I'm drinking a lot of water and trying to move around a lot. "A lot" is just trips to the restroom and occasionally downstairs. My sweet hubby won't let me walk down steps by myself yet, he insists on coming up and walking me down. ???? He's the best. I think that the drainage has stopped, I'm using a couple of bed wetting bed protectors that I bought on Amazon. I haven't peeked under the compression garment yet, but I plan on taking a shower later today. I'm excited!

Pain

Rjsilver
It's been three days since my surgery and I am in pain! Mostly when I move around though. If I lay still, I'm good. Not real jazzed with how things look, but I expected that. I know I have to wait for results. The swelling in the pubis mons area is what's bothering me the most. In that area I am very bruised and very swollen. Bruising is appearing in other areas and I'm getting itchy. Overall, I'm able to move around ok, though I do get tired quick. Not sure people are able to go back to work in three days! I don't think I could even zip my pants! Hopefully in another 7 days things will start to go down.
