Very happy with the results.
Scar is a little bumpy, I tend to scar badly. May opt for revision in the future.
Looks very full in the uppermost part right after waking up but dissipates and fills up the bottom center part of top lip which eclipses toothshow. I think I may try to do something about that area.

dr. m is kind, understanding and sensitive to the needs of his patients. his technique involves securely suturing the inner muscle to ensure that the incision stays anchored and does not stretch. i'm glad that he performed the surgery with a lot of attention to detail. the precision of the suturing speaks for itself. also, a few fellow practicing surgeons sat in for learning purposes.

So beautiful. So muscle was sutured in your surgery- did you experience any inability to speak, move your mouth, etc?
thank you ♡
Yes, I did a bit during the first few weeks and I tried to avoid any unnecessary movement (apart from eating, drinking, brushing teeth) but I also got sick and was throwing up which worried me too. I continue to have some difficulty pronouncing words that start with "p" because it requires a pursing of the lips which I want to avoid anyway.
Exact same scenario for me in every way! I got super sick in week 3 and hope that doesn’t affect anything. I wonder what’s so different about the methods used if we felt exactly the same?
Looks great. How do people respond to it ? Do they figure you had something done or just wonder what is pleasantly different?
Nobody could tell, not even my mother who came to visit when I was a few weeks post. Even people I was meeting on a regular basis had no idea. The only exception was a friend who said my top lip looks fuller.
Did he remove a strip of your orbicularis oris muscle and suture it under the nose? I’m curious how long did it take for the numbness to go away?
Who was your. Physicians
Great result! How much mm has the lip dropped? :) Or has it stayed just like in the beginning?

Hello, thank you for posting and I agree it looks amazing. How is the scar now? I am also interested in seeing this doctor. Can you please message his name to me? I was thinking of maybe seeing Dr Samara in Montreal but your stitches are unbelievably tiny and precise.

before pictures

these were taken a few months ago. the central part of my top lip is strangely plump and yet deflated due to overfilling with restylane in early 2012. i asked for the ”m” shape and it never went away just deflated a bit but the volume stayed. only in the middle. my natural lip was not as pouty.

by ”m” shape i am mainly referring to the peg-shaped thing at the bottom center of my top
You did your homework and it paid off! I've never seen an incision that clean! Amazing!!
thank you
Congratulations on your surgery. You look great, I am so happy for you! Thanks for sharing. BLESSINGS
Hi.

Are these 2 pics taken 4 days post-op? Cos the stitches r almost non-existent.

How is ur philtrum holding up since 2016? My dr sutured the inner muscle to ensure that the incision stays too. But I am sceptical about his assurance and am I glad to read someone had similar experience. Hope to hear from your account :)
