2 week results
2 weeks after my initial injection I am just not happy with my results. While my forehead is indeed free of wrinkles, my brow area now feels so heavy I can’t really open my eyes fully. I didn’t intend on having zero movement whatsoever as well, so I essentially have zero ability to make facial expressions. Overall I spent way too much to have bad results and be this unhappy.
First Time Dysport; Bad Reaction
Previously I had tried Botox once and while liked my results, it wasn’t in my budget. So, I tried dysport on the recommendation of a friend. I don’t have allergies of any sort so I wasn’t concerned, but the day after my treatment I woke up to heavy swollen eyelids that only got worse over the course of 4 days. I called the injector with my concern and was met with a brief, curt response that I needed to see my doctor and it wasn’t related to the dysport. Immediately following my request to cancel my future appointments, I received texts and emails apologizing as well as information that the dysport eyelid swelling is very rare but reported in 2% of patients. 1 week later the swelling is gone, but the bedside manor regarding my experience will keep me from returning. Including before and after photos for reference.
