Its been 5months and I should have done this VSG yeaaaarrrsss ago! Im finally getting my life and health back. I get full easily, watching what i eat is easier than before, ive lost over 40lbs, i need new clothes- Best decision ever.

2weeks ish.. post op
Im a few day short of my 2weeks post op. To be honest- I thot I would stop craving food but i still do. I thot my night eating cravings would automatically stop- but Nope! VSG isnt a cure, self control is still required- I have had to make a conscious effort. I cant drink so much, i havent felt full yet but if i drink water fast the pain is unreal. The weight is coming off slowing- i am looking forward to the pureed meals. Im here for the new disciplined life. And btw- my waist is smaller than ever!????#vsgjourney #vsgdiet #aslimmerme #asmtijuana

Surgery Day: A slimmer Me Tijuana
After all the tests, they put us in a hotel, we had a suite with a balcony- Again Very Posh and nice. We got complimentary jello upon check in. Next day was surgery day. Picked us up at 7am. Surgey started by 8am. This time around i told them to leave me alone- i wasnt going to talk to them and disgrace myself mid sentence again???????? Woke up to pain in my shoulder- they said it was gas. I dosed off- they gave us ice chips - wish was absolutely great! A nurse stayed with us overnight and was very attentive, Pain level not so bad. Everyone was able to walk around that night and the walking helped. Next day we went for the 1st leak test. They give u a nasty red cup of liquid- had to swallow a quarter of the liquid at a go- PAINFUL! But Thankfully- no leaks. They then took us to the recovery house- Again CLEAN AND BEAUTIFUL. All white everything, hospital beds, tv, netflix, attentive nurses. I actually dont have any complaints! These A Slimmer Me guys are 100% unlike my horrible RH experience in DR. So- they gave us another liquid after we settled in- blue liquid- and Yay! No leaks. We rested some more. Dr Montano visited us the next day, gave us our files of instructions and reference letters, my co-ordinator Annette also checked on us- and I left back to san diego to catch my flight. Anette Prado is rude and after everything ready to go unpaid deposit she plays games answering phone hanging up and not responding or confirming last surgery date she send I confirmed she could at least said ok I hate her but all other surgeries are great and have worked me in knowing a lot of patients traveling from far away and taking time off there jobs its important to confirm your date for there knowledge!
(patient coordinator) Anette Prado at aslimmerme she think u gonna keep this deposit to but she about to get showed shes not is rude and play games and isn't knowledge nor speak good English and doesn't know how to communicate and threaten to cancel your surgery when she already said when u approve u they can't cancel your surgery paid deposit yesterday someone in office should have followed back medical board need have this clinic under investigation!
