I'm back and in full throttle!

What my appointment sheet that I am posting on my fridge looks like vs. the one I have posted in the office. The only way I can manage to going to the doctor this much is because at the end of last year I was hit with massive pulmonary embolisms and pulmonary hypertension. I haven't told anyone about being sleeved, especially after that health scare!
I've completely recovered (thank The Almighty) but the follow up is a lot! I have to keep in mind about how greatly blessed that I am that I am alive. Every time I see one of the many specialist they love to tell me how much of an honor it is to treat me because it's a reminder that God truly is in control. The first sign of PE is death. You have a 25% chance of dying with PE. I seized out 4 separate times and Lisa consciousness. I had the same very vivid experience with each black out.... but here I am fighting the good fight!
Since all of the hereditary tests came back negative I can almost go back to life as usual. First factor is I have to lose weight and NEVER EVER take birth control again, as I am allergic to the synthetic estrogen! No wonder BC never worked for me and I ended up with all of these kids! Lol With all of that said, I have a decreased chance of being hit by clots again. Certain procedures like Weight Loss Surgery is an example of when I will have to be on thinners for an increased factor of clots.
Again, I was supposed to get sleeved in Mexico March of this year, but absolutely could not because I was under doctors care at the time. My primary had already signed off on everything as far as health wise before my PE's & PH. After being tested again for and remaining clots and pulmonary hypertension, which has been resolved she asked me if I think I could lose the 25lbs the insurance company requires for the surgery. She would rather me do it here under her care and the health care company since with the requirements in order for them to pay for it. God forbid I have any complications in Mexico or anytime thereafter. That way if I do have any complications I can't be rejected for coverage under any circumstances. There is a one year wait to have gastric surgery between being diagnosed with clots. My one year is up 12/26/17, so in July she began the process of documentation. The only bad thing is I still have extremely low energy and easily winded when I exert a lot of energy from the shock my body and organs experienced from the PE, PH and during recovery. I have to change up how I do everything!
I know one thing, I have to write everything down to ensure that I stay on track! My short term memory was affected from the lack of oxygen I had experienced so that makes life a little more challenging. This is what my accountability will look like for the next 5-6 months. I signed up for weight watchers this morning, did my grocery shopping, and now the only thing left it meal prep week by week!

God is in control

I guess there's a reason I've had the surgery set back so many times! There are so many things going on beyond our understanding or control! I'm not a candidate for the sleeve. I've been in the hospital for the last week and maybe for another week or so for pulmonary embolisms! Both of my lungs are filled with small to medium size blood clots. My heart scan can back as having A pulmonary hypertension. The doctors thought that it may have resulted from a mixture of birth control and flights. My father told me last last his brother died from this condition 40 years ago. I know treatment is much more progressive but I got my heart scan back literally 10 minutes ago and it diagnosed me as having pulmonary hypertension, which kind of tells me it's genetic! I will not be getting sleeved for sure! I'm on anticoagulants for the next six months and then I have to have the genetic testing to see if this is what my life will be. Even if not, a wouldn't even be a serious candidate for being sleeved for at least two years!
Be well friends, I wish you all of the success on your journey to health and wellbeing!!!!

My date has been changed

Dr. M office contacted me to change my date from February 10th to another date, possibly sooner! This is the second time my date has been changed! My initial date was January 6th. I have such limited time to actually have this procedure done. I'm feeling a little frustrated and disappointed at the same time. Now my date is March 3rd! If it is changed again I'm going to have to look into having it performed elsewhere. I really like all of the reviews and what people have to say about Dr. M skills and professionalism. I know a couple of people personally that have had him perform their sleeve but it seems like maybe the universe is trying to tell me something! I don't know! What I do know is the 3 strike rule, 3 strikes your out! I need this so bad and if I could manage to have it done now, believe me it would've been done yesterday!
Im really trying to stay positive and trust the universe! Everything happens for a reason right?
