Your results are amazing! I’m 6 days post op. I hope my results are comparable to yours! My highest weight was 182.8 date of surgery was 173.8 lbs.
I’m super happy with how the whole procedure went so far, the only thing stressing me out is the thought of losing my hair!
The only person who knows is my husband as well. I’m worried about Easter dinner which is months away! You ate real food and fooled everyone 3 weeks out? Wow! Glad to hear that I can fake it enough to have everyone not ask questions.
Keep posting I love to hear the progress!!
Thanks for this- you have inspired me-I will be going with him this . month
How are you feeling now that it's been a while? I'm considering a vsg and have a bmi of 27

Sounds like getting sleeved was a breeze for you! You make it sound easy! Are you still doing well? I am interested in this procedure also. I am 198 lbs. at 5'4". I have to weigh 207 in order for my insurance to pay. I can't gain as my weight just stays around 195-198lbs. So I will more than likely be self pay.
Hi, yes I am doing really well. Slowly continue to lose. Down 22 lbs. now and really happy. I can eat anything just less at one time. At times I have a little reflux but not bad. I self paid and it has definitely been worth it. None of my family knows just my hubby. I really feel like I have control over the good in my life now. Good luck!
Wow. Incision looking really good. I also don't want to tell my family! Lol Please keep updating because your case sounds so much like mine. Were you afraid you'd lose too much weight? Did your doctor talk about that at all? Thanks again for sharing your journey!
Yes, I inquired on a Facebook group about that. Most said that you can easily increase calories if you felt that way. I was really worried about eating in group setting but it has been easier than I thought. I can eat more soup than other things so if I’m out I order that. My husband and I will also order something to share and nobody notices how little I eat :). I’ve been eating lots of yummy food too just less.

3 week update

Here are my stats...

Cw 173.8
So excited with the result. I feel lighter, my joints feel better. Actually thought about going running today. I was really worried about not being able to chug water but I can take 3 big gulps. I’m not a good sipper. On Thanksgiving I was really worried about eating in front of everyone on. We were hosting some of my family and I haven’t told anyone but my husband. We did it buffet style so not everyone was staring at what I served myself and I actually had a few bites of mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, stuffing and later a tiny piece of pumpkin pie. I chewed everything very well and took tiny bites to make my eating last longer and no one noticed at all. Now I am starting to be able to eat more soup but that’s ok. I going to start working out more this week because I don’t want to be flabby. You can see the small drain spot and a small scar at the bottom of my belly button but not bad at all. Ok till next time... probably update in a couple weeks.

congratulations. I was sleeved on December 11th and I did not have a drain. I won’t get on the scale until my 1 month visit. I don’t want to drive myself crazy with ups and downs on the scale. I look forward to seeing more of your results.
Oh you're lucky. The drain was annoying :) It's all good. The first month is all downs...
you look amazing congrats
Where did you have you’re surgery?
