My review is quite early and I'm hoping things...

My review is quite early and I'm hoping things will turn around and then I'll change my review. I made such a risky decision having the surgery in Tijuana, and I truly feel blessed nothing went wrong. Everyone at the "hospital" was friendly and reassuring, but it was clear the nurses didn't have the education the nurses in the states do....or they simply weren't choosing to follow typical safety protocols. No nurse wore gloves at anytime while putting my port in and it took 3 to get it in since I was so dehydrated. (Not their fault) I was given a gown that was gigantic to the point if I lifted my arm you could see a boob-not even kidding. The gown had an orange sticky substance on it near the neck and when I told a nurse there must be a mistake as my gown is dirty, she said no it's clean and all the others are being used. I sat in a gown with what appeared to be vomit all day. I was so weak by the time they got around to me 12 hours after they told me to be there, and hadn't had any water in 24 hours. I know this sounds absurd that I went through with it but I reasoned that my procedure was the least risky. I would never undergo a more serious bariactric procedure there as I just don't have the confidence they'd be able to handle an emergency situation if something went wrong. Even my damn pillow case was a brown jacquered case, that's not sterile! Anyway I immediately felt terrible and thank god they let me stay the night instead of going to my hotel because I couldn't get up my stomach hurt so bad and nausea was unbearable. The cleaner made sure to come in and bleach my floors at least 3 times and then shut my door, like wth seriously. Every time they did it, I threw up. The next morning I somehow got out of bed to get on a plane, what a dumb choice I made thinking I'd be ok the next morning. I almost missed my flight because I was vomiting and couldn't get through security. I had no nausea medicine to take home with me. Somehow I met an angel in the waiting area who gave me several zofrans to get me through the next few days. She was the only reason I got through my flight in the middle seat without vomiting. The next 2 days were very rough with vomiting, but then I was totally fine. Where my discouragement comes from is the fact I'm barely eating, it's been 17 days and not one lb lost. I'm still at 162. I think I'm the only one!!!! Not one freaking pound! How is that possible?! I've started working out daily and I know the balloon is there, I totally feel it all the time, so I still am holding some hope. I will update my review again further into the process.
