Everything is going well. Looks a lot better than before surgery. I don't like my clitoral hood. It looks so big compared to my lips. She did cut off a bit too much of my labia minoras, but it's not bad in my opinion. I went to another Dr to see if I could get my hood reduced and he said no, because of the way the clit is structured. Bummer. Maybe a little bit of fat transfer to the labia majoras would give it a more pleasant look?

Swelling went down even more
My swelling has gone down even more. My dr said not to pull out stitches. She said I can trim them down and snip off knots. But I'm too nervous to do that. The poking is pretty annoying.

I could see how that would be annoying. Could you go see your doctor and have her trim them?
It's a really far drive and a hassle to get over there. :(. I will try again laterms tonight with a bright light and good mirror .
Can you go to a obgyn to get help ? Just curious? Also how long before can have sex? They tightened your muscles right?? Dr herrera? Sorry so many questions I'm a previous Cardenas patient going back for vaginoplasity
I heard it isn't a good idea to go to obgyn for labiaplasty. I think after 6 weeks it should be fine for sex if you don't feel that tender. I didn't get my muscles tightened.

I think you'll be most able to trim any of the external stitches. By now you've probably done so: if not only snip when you're sure there's no skin as well as stitch. You'll do well.
Hey, just think, you'll be so good you could do trimming for other people and make some money.

The itching and poking
So I'm almost 2 weeks post op. Nausea and bad tummy is gone. Thank god. Since yesterday I noticed my sutures are poking out. They itch and poke me. They are starting to cause some irritation and slight swelling again. I feel like pulling them out! I sent dr an email and asked if I could pull them out or if I have to wait. Well see what she says.

I hope by now you've had a reply from your doctor which is helpful. The only good thing about itching is it usually means that cuts are healing, which is what it'll be with you.
