Dr. Campos Leon for Butt Implants and Fat Grafting to Hips - Mexico
UPDATED FROM bigdreamzz
2 months post op with Dr. Campos
I apologize its been so long since I've updated. Just got busy with life and haven't had the time like I've wanted. Well things have been healing really nicely. The buttlift scar is so thin, it still itches but less than before. The implants have settled but they are uneven. One is higher than the other but I think that's from, like I said early on, like
week one, putting pressure on the right side trying to get off of the massage table I think moved it. I could tell early on that it may be an issue. But the way they look, even with the slight unevenness is still really good. I just started trying to exercise again. Didn't want to do it too soon. Can't fit any of my old pants it seems, but not necessarily a bad thing :) Still gotta take some pics!!! My hips went down from those initial days but the shape is still really feminine. I can still feel the implants a little when I sit but when you touch or squeeze my but you cannot feel them. The one on the left side, the one that sits lower I can feel, kinda, and it's rounder. You can't tell in jeans because just a slight lift from the pants makes them look pretty even. I wish both sides were the same though. I can bend, sit and walk normal now. Sitting for long periods of time is hard and laying flat on my back with no cushion under my tushy doesn't feel great either. I'm still swollen in my ab area we're it was lipoed, so my mid section is bigger now than before I had surgery. My tummy has always been flat, so it's weird having a little pouch. Other than that, all is well. If I haven't responded to your message, I apologize! I will do another update hopefully at 3 months, or before if I take some new pics. Thanks to all who have been following my journey!

Recover is long and slow
Recovery is coming along slowly, but I'm getting there. I'm about 2 1/2 weeks post op and things seem to be healing nicely. I would say that the hardest part of my recovery is the swelling from the lipo. Some days I am so swollen! Still dealing with the swelling. If I don't wear the epifoam (I believe its called) under my compression garment, I swell up like a tomato. I believe the added compression helps at this stage. Sometimes I try to get away without wearing it because it's very bulky under clothes.
As far as the implants go, one side feels almost completely normal. The other side is very sore and bruised, the side that I applied pressure to when I would lift myself off the table after my post op massages. I couldn't figure out how to get off my back, even with a pillow, the pressure was unbearable but I would try to do it quick, but now it's bruised and still a little harder than the other side so I hope things settle okay.
I'm still swollen but things still look great. My hips have went down a little, but they are still nice. I got an infection in the incision above my navel. The doctor's office had me take antibiotics for two weeks instead of one so hopefully its all gone. I will take pics later. The scar across my back looks amazingly good! The thing I worried about the most so far is looking like a million bucks.
Getting lots of rest, trying not to get too frustrated laying on my stomach all the time. I am more than half way over the hump, only one or two more weeks of this so I will grin and bear it.
Can't wait to get back to being mobile again. Simple things like putting on my socks are challenging, especially on the side that I bruised. I bought one of those grabbers at the recommendation of another realself member and let me tell you, that thing has been a lifesaver! I have definitely got my money's worth.
I will post pics soon, just been too tired to get on the computer and do updates or take pics, but when I get an energy rush, I will take some.
My water intake is above normal, for me. Seems like I crave water all the time and therefore have to pee every couple of hours. That is a little annoying, but I suppose I must need it since I'm craving it. Also crave oranges and salad, but these are things that I have always eaten. I have eaten some junk food, though I try not to indulge too much. I also try to eat things higher in protein like Greek yogurt and meat because I don't want to end up losing too much weight, like I normally do. I gotta feed these fat cells, lol!
I guess that's all for now.

The epifoam is great for even smooth compression but you can alter your garment to make it smaller or get a smaller garment and you can get a break from the epifoam while still getting compression until the garment becomes loose again. Hang in there!
You are looking great hon! I'm thinking of having a similar procedure with Dr Campos.
Pineapple is good for swelling. I had trouble with being soooo tired. That is just your body letting you know you need more rest. Moving around is good, walk as much as you can. I had a mini tummy tuck so I could not lay on my stomach....I was on my sides maybe you can try that a little. Hope you keep doing well.
You look great! and yes Dr C is a genius at creating an hour glass shape. I've sent you a PM got some questions. thanks
Please moré pics! :))

Those hips don't lie, love the shape! Which shape of implant did you go with, round or oval?
Oh & what size? Thanks for your help! :)
LOL thanks! Somehow the pics don't quite do them justice :) I went with oval intramuscular, 500cc's. My waist is still quite swollen from the lipo and very tender, but I like the results already!
You look amazing now I can't wait for my round two lol
Thanks! Keep me updated when you get it done. I'd love to follow your journey :)
