BBL and TT - Dr. Campos - February 2015

Hi ladies! I'm so sorry I haven't updated you guys ASAP. Recovery has been no joke. I'm glad I did the TT and BBL together but it's rough though it gets better each day. I do have to say I'm finally starting to feel human and somewhat normal now. so the day of surgery O showed up and Angie had me fill out paperwork, met Campos he took pics and marked me up, got the blue pill went into the OR got my anesthesia and next thing I know I woke up and was moved into the recovery room where I would stay the night. The night nurse Patty was alright she wasn't helpful because she couldn't soeak English so I had a hard time communicating with her, it was frustrating. In the morning I asked if I could have something to drink she gave me orange juice which I later told Campos and he freaked out on me saying why I drank that. I was like because that's what your nurse gave me and he called into the room immediately and told her that it was acidic and not good for me esp since I hadn't been offered and food by her. While this was going on I was in the bathroom dry heaving becAuse I was so nauseous. I just wanted to get out of there. I was happy to see Fabiola from OFH she came and picked me up and off I went to recover. Everyone at OFH we're great and trust me girls they have everything don't overpack. Anyways they fed me took care of me and the whole 9 yards. I had to get massages from Campos office because Maripaz was on vacation. Let's just say they helped but sucked after I got two massages from Maripaz when she got back. Her one massage was equivalent to the 5 massages I received from Campos office. I'm so disappointed with the treatment I received from Campos office. So when I showed up on my last day of the massage and asked if Campos was there they told me no he's gone for two weeks and my post op appointment will be with nurse Patty. I was so infuriated that the office didn't even have the decency to let me know that my doc wouldn't be around. WTF?!? Anyways I was still draining 100 cc and Patty wanted to take my drain out. I was like oh hell no I will go home with the drain and take it out myself which I did at 14 days post op it was easy. My experience with Campos office sucked but I have to say I am happy with my results. Campos may not be a professional but he knows what he's doing. Also since I had a TT and BbL at the same time...somethings gotta give. Even though I've been extra careful not to sit but to sleep with a TT there will be SOME pressure on your butt. I slept with two boppys under me and my feet elevated to keep as much pressure off as I could. I still sleep and rest that way. Here are some before and afters.

My husband flew in with me to San Diego. He will be here with me for my surgery day and fly back the next day. So far it feels like a mini vacation...lol. We landed, rented a car went to Pacific Beach area had breakfast walked around now headed to Mexico. Marvin from OFH will be picking us up from my hubby's hotel by Campos office (he didn't want to stay the night at the recovery house). Hubby will get me all settled in and meet me at Campos office in the morning. He such a sweetheart ...he's super busy with his business but made the time to come with me to make feel comfortable. So far I'm excited about my new body...just a little nervous. Here are some pix of my pre-op self one day before surgery!

Here are pics of me from today I can't wait to post post op pix!!!!! I've been so busy with life the past few weeks that I haven't gotten a chance to start getting my stuff together. I'm going to pack light since Club Med will have everything. Just have to send my payment for Club Med and book flights now. :))
