I have been having problems with a persistent seroma - since 4 days after the drains were removed and I'm now 6 weeks post op. I have a local MD who has been draining it weekly and we put a sclerosing agent in there after draining it today (5 times so far at 60 cc 60 cc 30, 30 30).

Dr. Soberanes will not return my messages about wanting him to perform surgery to correct it (if all else fails). None (I called all 5) of the local plastic surgeons will see me because they only give post- surgical treatment to their own patients. I am so frustrated I could cry! A doctor here from Denver answered my question, I wonder if I paid to fly to Denver if he would treat me? I still have a little savings left, but I'm not made of money and had promised my daughter braces with the savings.

I feel your pain. Nine years ago I had a reduction and within a couple of weeks I knew that my nipples had been placed too high , 18/19 cms as opposed to the 21 (ish) . I had the issues with nipples escaping bras also made more difficult by the fact that any fullness in my breasts are below the nipples (if you have more lower breast tissue demi type bras are 're commended but can't be worn because of nipple placement) Just under 3 weeks ago I had a tummy tuck (different ps) and asked if he could also do a revision on the breasts. He has removed some skin from below the breasts although to be honest although there is a slight improvement I am still not 100% happy. I am already thinking about other options, one being to have the whole nipple lowered which will mean scarring above nipple but that I can accept. Will be seeing ps on Saturday so will discuss with him then.
Thank you so much for sharing! I got an answer here from a doctor in Palo Alto who recommended roving skin from under the breast and pushing the mass up which I think will be acceptable. I did a video on you tube called mermaid nipples
I checked out you tube, you are a braver woman than I ! I guess what you have in your favour is that your breasts are a lot fuller than mine and I would have thought that removing breast tissue and skin from the underside could give you a pretty good result. I had skin removed from underside in an effort to make nipple placement look lower and top of breasts look fuller but not really any improvement :(
look at dr. horndeski of sugarland texas. he does that type of breast work! good luck!

Does that mean that you will be able to get your boobs fixed in your local area or within driving distance or do you still need to go to Denver? I saw the Mermaid video, I feel for you.

I am really depressed!

My seroma has been drained 4 times now and has fluid in it again. I asked the doctors here for advice. It looks like mine has become encapsulated and may need surgery to correct. I'm worried my surgeon wont fix it because he keeps saying everything is fine. I feel like crying
