After doing research in both the States and Mexico, I chose CosMed clinic due to their highest accreditation and great reviews.
After reading all of the tummy tuck horror stories on the Internet, I met Dr.Carlos Castaneda and was instantly put at ease. He is extremely responsive and answered my many questions. A master at his work, the results are better than I could have ever imagined. The Doctor is an artist.
He promised little pain and he delivered
The Recovery Boutique is so lovely and the Nurses some of the kindest most caring people whom I have ever met. I actually had a good time there.
I feel so lucky and highly recommend this kind and brilliant Doctor Castaneda.
CosMed Clinic is exquisitely run with both caring and efficiency
I trusted my gut and ended up with a flat belly!

Don't believe these positive Cosmed reviews. I think their staff post them. Scarred for life patient finally speaking out after almost a year.

I finally posted my story yesterday, after having surgery in Nov of 2013. Fuentes was my surgeon and he did not explain that he would only cut away skin on my arms. A US doctor later explained this. I now have horrible scars and my arms are still large. I thought they couldn't be worse than before, but they absolutely are! The scars are down so low I have to wear longer shirts than before. On my right arm the scar is large, red and thick - keloids - the left was stitched in a way that it's "pudgy" - a pocket of fat near the elbow end. It looks very unnatural! My breast lift is a nightmare!! I have big, DEEP scars. I am still sore on one breast, and I can feel the implant and push it around. It sticks out to the side. The scaring is just awful - there are very deep lumps and grooves and bad lines. Stitching was left in by Dr. Quiroz. I still have many bumps from that. The US doctors didn't want to remove it even weeks after the surgery. They said let it push out naturally. So I have these added bumps from the stitches. I just do not understand. I don't understand how they can be so experienced and so proud yet I had this horrible experience with my surgery! I saved money for YEARS to have this surgery! YEARS!!! I spent all of my savings. I went through HORRENDOUS pain after this surgery. I have physical and emotional scars. This has been a living nightmare for me. It almost wrecked me. It sent me into a depression. When I did my research on Cosmed I hadn't found one bad review. Since that time I have found a number of bad reviews. I finally posted the above here but also shared this with Cosmed... no response and I don't expect one. I'm not one to air my dirty laundry in public, but I wanted to share my experience for the women out there that may be considering Cosmed for work. It's a clean, pretty place, but the results I have should be a caution to all. Whatever you choose I wish you the best of luck!

He is a master at his work and my results are better than I could have ever imagined. He is an artist. He promised little pain and he delivered. If possible after staying in the Recovery Boutique I actually had a good time. I feel so lucky and highly recommend this kind and brilliant Doctor. The Clinic is exquisite run with both kindness and efficiency. I trusted my gut and ended up with a flat belly. Bless you CosMed Clinic for the safe and beautiful place that you have created.

I would love to add your experience to the Tummy Tuck community, but it would be helpful if you could provide some more detail about your experience with your procedure/treatment. I suggest adding pros and cons and/or before and after photos - optional of course, so that other community members can use your review as a guide through their journey.

I could find some before photos and take some after. What kind of details would you like for the procedure, I was on anesthesia and do not remember a thing. The procedure if done by the hands of a skilled surgeon is not as bad as everyone says. Let me know what kind of details you need! Thanks, Camilla
CamiKay so happy you had such great results, I don't know much about Dr. Castaneta, good to know he did such a good job. I will agree the Cosmed center is beautiful and the recovery center is wonderful, I enjoyed my stay there, I just came home with a sloppy job of cutting and sewing and now face revisions from 2 out of the three procedures I had done. These were things that I was told was normal and would correct themselves over time, but after a year, no such luck...I always knew things were not as good as they should have been, but when I went to several consults for the lower body lift, I had planned on getting, each surgeon told me I needed revisions, so it wasn't just something I was overreacting too...If you have more surgeries planned stick with your original doctor from there, and again glad it worked out for you...Nice to know about your Doctor...
