4th day of 2 week pre-op diet

Well I started my 2 week pre-op diet Friday. My weight was 182.4 my CW is 178.2. I've felt really hungry at times, but I try to remember the purpose of the pre-op diet... to shrink the liver & so that my sleeve surgery will go well. Sugar free Popsicles have helped. It's kinda of funny because for the last 3 night I've dreamt of over indulging on food. When I wake up I deep so guilty...like I've cheated on my pre-op diet but I haven't. It's kinda weird. Lol but all in all, I'm staying true to the diet. I haven't even taken a 3rd daily shake. Only 2 shakes, a salad with 6 oz of protein, sugar free jello & sugar free Popsicles. I'm proud of myself! I'm struggling to get in 64 oz. of water on though. Crystal light has helped. But I know I'll need to dramatically increase my water/liquid intake. By the way, I use EAS shakes from Walmart. They taste ok with a slight after taste. So I add a pinch of cinnamon & nutmeg to each shake I drink. I hope that's allowed. Lol I also started taking some vitamins Monday; vitamin D, chewable Iron, 1 Metamucil Capsule & biotin daily (except vitamin D...that's once a week). My hair already sheds quite a bit everyday, so I hope by taking the biotin before & after the surgery it will prevent even more shedding. I'll continue to update as I progress through this journey.

Hi everyone! I just want to thank everyone that...

Hi everyone! I just want to thank everyone that had the courage to post their experiences on this site!!! I've learned so much & your stories have been extremely inspirational as I begin to start my WL journey. My gastric sleeve is set for next month & I'm so excited. I start my pre-op diet this week. SW 186.4, CW 182.4. GW 120. I started my pre-op diet a little earlier. Not the full diet. I just added 1-2 shakes a day & reduced my overall caloric intake & No sodas which I love! Lost 4 lbs in 1 week. I will post as I progress on my pre- op diet.
