Oh no. I am so sorry to read about your experience. That is awful! Legally, is there anything you can do…since you did not give consent to a facelift??
So sorry that you had that bad experience. Is there anyway to get it corrected.
I am so sorry you went through this.
You didn't do this to yourself....a hack did.
So sorry for you :(

It has been a nightmare. All I wanted done was lipo on my chin and to bring in my ears a bit. When I woke up I was full of stitches on my face and upper back of neck. He told me he decided to perform half a face lift with out asking me. He did a terrible job, my scars are thick, and there for everyone to see..i get asked all of the time why I had a face lift. I'm 40 and always got compliments on my lack of wrinkles and good skin. I did want to take care of my double chin, everyone told me no need but you know humans. It has been 5 months now, I still have people ask when they see the scars. It took me 10 minutes to find out on the internet that for men the scar for a facelift should be on the inside of the ear since we don't use makeup, mine are about 1/8 of inch from my ear. No way to hide, my upper neck scars are outside my hair line again right there for everyone to see. One of my ears is ok and the other is crooked now, it looks limp and or crouched, folded if that makes sense, For the rest of my life have 4 long scars on my face, two on each side of my face and two on the back of my neck. His staff suggested makeup up for my face scars. (I'm a man) It feel horrible to wake up to this and I have a really hard time being in public. Thats my story, I can't believe I did this to myself.

I'm so sorry this has been your experience.  Are you considering seeing a different doctor for a revision?

I'm not sure anything can be done, ill try to upload pics of my ear. its very deformed. But yes, I will see a doctor soon. The worst part is the low self esteem that comes with the my new deformed ear and scars. :/

Yes I can imagine the self-esteem issues are intense.  Try to stay positive- another doctor may  be able to help.

Agree - search wide and far and you WILL FIND someone that cares and is capable. Only bad part is you'll have to endure fresh scars and time to heal. The only way through it, is through it. Hang tough and find the right artist with an innovative approach.
Oh my goodness! That's everyone's worst fear when going in to a cosmetic surgeons office. So sad this happened to you. But now you can tell people you got in a fight with a shark or a bear, something that will lighten the mood for you. Good luck.

Truly feel for you. I went to a “legendary” doctor in LA for eye surgery and my mistake, I never really made sure he was an eye expert. Suffice it to say, it was a terrible experience and he was a complete PRICK after the fact. Bad doctors are the worst and sadly there are MORE out there than we think - ALWAYS DO YOUR HOMEWORK and never be afraid to ask questions or bail on procedure if everything does not feel right.
I'm sorry to hear that! It's hard to feel confident w yourself before surgery .. Than having surgery to fix a couple of imperfections and than be left worse. It does take a toll on your self esteem.. You start to blame yourself, thinking only if I would've just left myself alone. Going though the same thing.. And would hate for someone to go through what I'm going through.
