7 & 8 Month Review

I HAVE EDGES!!! One side looks beautiful and the other side is still coming along. I could probably get a second surgery on the other side but I opt not to go through the process again. The Right Side is still growing and filling in so I'm expecting more growth in the future.

The doctor was very friendly and willing to answer all questions before and after the procedure. Be sure to ask if you get money back if you don't get all the grafts intended for the procedure.

Looks amazing!!! I'm at month 6 and I'm regretting ever getting it done. I am not experiencing growth :(. I am so happy for you!!!
Usernameunk, don't get discouraged because I looked at your pictures on your profile and at the 3.5 month mark your results seem to be in line with those that go on to have really good results. I commented before of how for everyone it looks like at first the tp doesn't take but then around the 6th month mark it seems to really kick in so don't give up hope of having great results as well.

Congratulations Hair8989, your results are amazing. Thanks for sharing your journey because it helps those of us who will be having the procedure to have reasonable expectations at the various stages and to be patient. It is like at first it looks like the transplant didn't work but around the 6th month you can really see the difference and this is not just with your journey but all of those that have shared pictures which is why it is good to take pictures each month. I appreciate all of the information you all are providing and hopefully my results will be as good as yours.
Also I meant to ask, did the doctor instruct you to use the Rogaine and what type of oil did you use? If you don't mind, please share how you applied both and how soon after surgery. I want to do everything possible to help my growth so I am trying to find out as much as I can from those who have had successful growth after their procedures.

7 Month Update

Hello everyone who is tracking my progess. I am a few days late posting but I did take the pictures on time. There has been a lot of growth!!!! I'm still waiting for it to be completely filled in and thicker but I'm so happy to announce...... I HAVE EDGES!!!! Around month 5 I began to question if it was worth the time, donor area hair loss, and money. I'm so happy that I made my decision and enjoy sharing my journey with everyone.

Wow! Your results are amazing. I am three months post op and I think I've been very impatient. Your pics have reminded me to be patient and I will eventually see results.
