2 week post op visit today
WORTH IT
I saw Dr Pantoja and of course I was less swelled up. He said I should not be cooking or walking which is what I did yesterday, hence the swelling. Over all he said scar is healing beautifully and removed some stitches. He said after 3 months we will see results and we can then determine if a minor lipo is needed in the lower tummy area but it's too soon to jump to conclusions. Drain will not be out for another week or two so as much fluid as possible can drain out. After that Ms. Mary Paz performed the lymphatic therapy and drained my back quite significantly. It felt like such a relief afterwards. Best money ever spent. Ladies, beware she is one of the few Therspists in Tijuana that know what they are doing. Just got back to the Inland Empire and still draining:) on my way to a better me! Weee!

2 weeks too swollen
I feel totally swelled up from from bottom belly. Tomorrow I see Dr. P for my first post op appt and hope this is temporary. I'm getting a bit worried this is permanent. What do you guys think?

Make sure you're taking care of yourself and try arnica pills or tea

Yes, I have been drinking arnica and pills faithfully. I need to get the gel. Heard is works great on the belly.

Hello miss Erika, Im two weeks po as of yesterday and my tummy is still swollen too. I jus had my lymphatic massage today and it really does help plus the arnica tea and gel. No worries. Dr. P told me tht the swelling will take a few months to go down. Happy healing to u :-)

Hello Diva, I know I over did it by trying to cook a meal and went up and down the stairs several times. I took off girdle as I couldn't take the tightness for about 1 hour and I think that's when I blew up. MaryPaz did a wonderful job today with my massage. Lower back is still draining and it's been 6 hours since my massage. :) did you have just a tummy tuck?

Glad your doin better. I actually had my tummy tuck 2 weeks ago on the 7th. I need to take it easy over here too while im trying to be super woman doing laundry and cooking. I definitely dont wanna swell up bigger thn i am lol trynna get my pudge dwn
