Measurements Pre-Op; Will Update One and Two Months from Now
NOTE: Some of these measurements are just for my own records...feel free to ignore the ones that seem irrelevant (my neck, calves, arms, etc). I just wanted to have all my pre-op measurements on record for myself. I will update the ones of general interest (waist/hips/thighs) in the coming months. Someone else did that, and it gave me perspective about swelling etc....hope this does the same for others.

Six says post op with pic, Lower Body Lift
I have so much to write, and intend to as I regain my energy. Just wanted to post a quick update photo, and let everyone know that I'm doing well, and that I'm super grateful for those of you who have checked in to see how I'm doing.
I've had a remarkably good recovery, and am far more mobile than typical for this few days out after surgery. Wounds are healing very well so far, no openings or tears, and no infections. I plan to write more tomorrow to give you all an overview of the past week. Will post some additional photos then too.
Let me say this: this is a scary ride. For those of you who have had a body lift or are considering doing it, I think you are strong as hell. Don't let anyone make you feel bad for choosing this for yourself. Life is short. Don't live in fear. I put this surgery off for 10 years, and I only regret not having done it sooner.

Three days before body lift surgery...feeling so anxious.
I'm scheduled to have surgery 7/17/17. Anybody else who's gotten a body lift, I would love some advice and words of encouragement. I'm flying out west by myself, and the fear is beginning to kick in. I've studied Dra. Cardenas's work (and the work of countless other surgeons for years), so I'm confident I made the right choice. I'm just so afraid of being alone...afraid of the pain...afraid of complications. Your good wishes and advice (if you can spare either) would be so appreciated :)
