Have my threads been pulled too tight

I am now 24 hours post happy lift threads and I’m worried they’re too tight. Above photo immediately after and below 24 hours after. Ive trawled the internet and cannot find anyone in photos looking as horrendous as i do. I’m old 2-3 weeks to settle but am I ping I look like I’ve been sucked up like a vacuum cleaner?

Hello,
This doesn't seem like a typical result following threading. I would recommend going back to your practitioner as soon as you can to have this corrected. Good luck

So sorry you've had to go through this horrendous experience. What's this doctor's name and location? Want to be sure I don't go to him/her.

Hello, I would suggest seeing her, or another board certified dr .This may just be a lot of swelling , which may resolve itself in a couple of days. However best not to take chances . Wishing you safe healing and a good outcome. I am looking at getting this done and am a Melbourne girl too

Hello .. i think youre fine .. from the pics i can see you still have the anathestic solution plus some natural swelling .. also the indents are the end of the threads barbs .. dont be concerned ..i iced up plus placed compression bandage around my face to help with this .and i bruised heaps as well... youll find as your face heals youll see lumps and bumps but im now 2 months on and everything has really settled and im so pleased .

Woe, I

Need medical attention!

This is not normal in my opinion you need a second opinion. When I had mine done I had no brushing, no swelling, you couldn't tell I had anything done expect I looked better and face was less saggy. Please keep everyone posted on how you do.

I still feel very bruised and it’s tender to touch but it is settling right down. I’m still very swollen too but the dents are defiantly smoothing out. I clearly need to be very patient with this procedure.

Your swelling has improved tremendously. I look forward to seeing your next update!

i am sorry for you. you need to find reputable plastic surgeon to take thread out!

I've had this procedure done before. It did not look like that. Are you able to have someone else look at it. I've seen other patients with procedure also. I think the physician was really aggressive with the tightening. It's supposed to be a lunchtime lift, where you can return to work right away..... It looks like this may require some down time. Just talking from my experience. I hope everything turns out great. If you want I can show you my "day after" thread lift.

Dont do anything .... youre perfectly fine .... i had similar dimples ..and that is the barb points that attach to lift the skin backwards ... they will dissolve in arround 6 weeks .. slow process ..but dont forget they are also aiming to irritate the collagen under the skin as well to help with the long term process ... what i did and still do .. is massage up face upwards as often as i wanted to help things along ... youll notice a change daily ... not just in the dimples settling ..but little sore points as collagen is stimulated ..maybe even lumpy bits .. i had tingling under my skin around the 4 week mark ... and i realised that was the irritation thats meant to happen for new collagen to my face . . Keep calm !! The dr has done a wonderful job ... your skin tone looks terrific ..and with make up on and some shading along the dimples youll have amazing cheekbones ... arounds 8 weeks or a bit more everything of my dissolved .. and the weird thing is i kind of miss them ! .
Now 10 weeks on ..what ive learnt about myself is ... im not really looking at my face as much ..eg before threads i couldnt walk pass a mirror without pulling my skin back ... i also realise that i need some fillers and fat dissolving injections for my neck .... because i can see my face better ...
Im really happy to answer any concerns you have with my experience ... stay calm ... smile .. try not to look in the mirror so often ..hard i know ... but give it the full 8 to 10 weeks that is the guide ... and your skin texture looks amazing already !! Cheers cathy ... cathy pine on fb if youd like to chat ..cheers again

Nobody has 3 lots of dimples each side of their face! Have you been back to the doctor who did it and complained?
July 29, 2018
Don't rush & do anything right away. They do dissolve over time.
Where do you live? I know an amazing doctor you might want to get a consolation
July 29, 2018
Why will it cost $2000 to put right? Insist whoever did this puts it right.
August 15, 2018
Who did this?
July 31, 2018
This is pure crazy. No one can walk around like this for weeks! Sorry for Your dilemma. I won’t ever do this
August 26, 2018
Please don’t
August 10, 2018
Please go to a different cosmetic surgeon to get this fixed,Do not go back to the same one as if they couldn't see this is shocking in the first place then I wouldn't trust them to correct it:(
