So it’s now 6 weeks exactly after I had the threads, slowly, very slowly the dents are going. I’ve had a full refund from the clinic to pay towards rectifying these dents.

Dont do anything .... youre perfectly fine .... i had similar dimples ..and that is the barb points that attach to lift the skin backwards ... they will dissolve in arround 6 weeks .. slow process ..but dont forget they are also aiming to irritate the collagen under the skin as well to help with the long term process ... what i did and still do .. is massage up face upwards as often as i wanted to help things along ... youll notice a change daily ... not just in the dimples settling ..but little sore points as collagen is stimulated ..maybe even lumpy bits .. i had tingling under my skin around the 4 week mark ... and i realised that was the irritation thats meant to happen for new collagen to my face . . Keep calm !! The dr has done a wonderful job ... your skin tone looks terrific ..and with make up on and some shading along the dimples youll have amazing cheekbones ... arounds 8 weeks or a bit more everything of my dissolved .. and the weird thing is i kind of miss them ! .
Now 10 weeks on ..what ive learnt about myself is ... im not really looking at my face as much ..eg before threads i couldnt walk pass a mirror without pulling my skin back ... i also realise that i need some fillers and fat dissolving injections for my neck .... because i can see my face better ...
Im really happy to answer any concerns you have with my experience ... stay calm ... smile .. try not to look in the mirror so often ..hard i know ... but give it the full 8 to 10 weeks that is the guide ... and your skin texture looks amazing already !! Cheers cathy ... cathy pine on fb if youd like to chat ..cheers again

Nobody has 3 lots of dimples each side of their face! Have you been back to the doctor who did it and complained?

Don't rush & do anything right away. They do dissolve over time.
Where do you live? I know an amazing doctor you might want to get a consolation

I still feel very bruised and it’s tender to touch but it is settling right down. I’m still very swollen too but the dents are defiantly smoothing out. I clearly need to be very patient with this procedure.

Your swelling has improved tremendously. I look forward to seeing your next update!

i am sorry for you. you need to find reputable plastic surgeon to take thread out!

I've had this procedure done before. It did not look like that. Are you able to have someone else look at it. I've seen other patients with procedure also. I think the physician was really aggressive with the tightening. It's supposed to be a lunchtime lift, where you can return to work right away..... It looks like this may require some down time. Just talking from my experience. I hope everything turns out great. If you want I can show you my "day after" thread lift.

I don’t know enough about it to know if and how bad the technique was, but it also looks like you had an allergic reaction to something. The eye puffiness even though they weren’t especially near the procedure. And whether the technique is bad, or it’s a reaction, I’m thinking it would be a lot easier to repair the damage from one. I’ll ask my doc, hopefully that’s an option.
If you’re able to have it repaired, please do update us. Someone might need the info even years in the future- thank you and good luck!
