This has been a $4100 mistake and a hard lesson learned

I have held off writing this for a long time. I want to help others not make the same mistake I did in going here for aesthetic treatment. I’m a year out from having threadlift done by Melissa. The results were terrible from the get-go, beginning with my face going temporarily, partially paralyzed at the end of the procedure. At the time I was completely brushed off, and as I was leaving they didn’t make my follow-up appointment until two months out-- even though my face was paralyzed and looked absolutely terrible. I realized that they knew it was messed up and just wanted to get rid of me. A day later, I noticed a thread sticking out of the top of my head. When I reached out to Melissa, she told me to get nail clippers and cut it myself, or if I wanted to I could go in and have her do it. Nail clippers! When I tried to get help from Dr. Burroughs (her husband), he got angry, dismissed my concerns without doing any thorough evaluation, and ultimately released me from care so that I had no one to go to for help with the ongoing complications. A year out and I am still in pain from where Melissa placed the threads which go all the way up to the crown of my head, which no one I've consulted understands why. It’s been a very disappointing ordeal. I will point out too that they charged $100 for consultation and didn’t subtract that from the final cost. This has been a $4100 mistake and a hard lesson learned. Find a better, more honest and professional place to go!
