Hi if anyone can please give me any feed back. I went to the clinic yesterday to have something done on my left cheek since apparently there was one of the threads pinched she inserted a cannula to release the pressure. Please give me any advise

Thread Lift Done Yesterday Very Concerned
I had a thread lift done yesterday and was wondering if anyone had this happen. I have dimpling in the left side. I understand that the swelling is common but is this normal?? I’m kind d of scared this won’t go away in the next days to my understanding this procedure was something you could go back to work same day

I was told the same thing... just a few days of recovery and some people "go back to work same day". Unfortunately, for me it has been almost a month since I had my thread lift done and I have dimpling and a lot of pain. I had to take prednisone to reduce the swelling and it helped, but I still look odd. I have huge regrets about having this procedure done. It did tighten my jawline, but it did nothing for my neck, which was the only reason I had it done. I am very frustrated and upset. I think there is a lot of false advertising online about the PDO thread lifts.
I believe thread lifts are a total waste of $. I’m in my late 40’s I wasted 3k in threads won’t do it again I will wait probably a couple of years and will get a lower face lift and get it over with. Rather spend 20k for something I know will last 10 years than being wasting 3-5 k all the time between threads and other stuff like fillers that don’t last and make your face look weird
