PDO Threads Painful, Severe Bruising
I had PDO threads placed in my cheeks 10 days ago.
The procedure itself was uncomfortable enough that I would never put myself through it again.
Worse though is the recovery. I am very bruised on both sides. My right cheek is a little tender but is manageable. My left cheek is still swollen and is incredibly painful to touch and when I talk or eat. I can feel the threads pulling when I touch my skin, causing pain on top of my zygoma at the insertion point.
I can feel some of the threads under the skin on the left side and there is a tethering of the skin in places.
I have been on antibiotics for 3 days now and this is starting to help a little.
