PDO Threadlift!

UPDATED FROM Trishalish

More pics

Mostly I think that my neck is the best thing about this procedure as shown by the pictures. I’ll try and find more later. I tried to say in my first update that I blogged about it and named the blog, but Real Self deleted that whole paragraph.
It shows a timeline and pics with the time line. This was months ago and I had to go out of town so I didn’t get to review it at the time it was happening, but I still wanted to review it just because my results are so good and because no one has reviewed One Aesthetics which I think is a fantastic place and I highly recommend them.

Thank you so much. :)
Who was your physician?
Ashley Potenberg from One Aesthetics. She’s a fantastic injector and super nice.
Fantastic results! What does this procedure cost? Did they use a lot of threads? Thanks!
You look great! How was your recovery?
Thanks! I was sore for a couple days, the bruising was like a month, but I have very pale almost translucent skin so I just bruise easy.
ORIGINAL POST

PDO Threadlift!

Hi, I just want to tell you my experience with getting a threadlift for my neck sagging and also to stimulate collagen in my cheeks.
Quick story, I wanted to look as good as possible before my wedding on the 21’s of June and I went to One Aesthetics in Winter Park, Fl. Where I had been before for botox and Juvaderm filler which I was very happy with, but my neck was still bothering me.They suggested a threadlift and I said go for it. I’m so glad I did, because it made a huge difference in my neck and my self esteem. The platysmal bands and sagging was so improved by this lift. The bands have disappeared. That may be the Botox, but the threadlift definitely improved the look even more. My cheeks have texture from past acne scars and the PDO threads really have made a difference in smoothness. I definitely would suggest a threadlift with Juvaderm as an alternative to a surgical facelift. It’s like a mini facelift. I feel it’s much more affordable and less time down for people who may not want to go through the recovery time of invasive surgery. I love my results and I love the doctors and staff at One Aesthetics. They make you feel extremely comfortable and the results speak for themselves. Definitely recommend.

I have noticed on this site that lots of people give their review of a doctor or procedure with just a couple of photos like yourself making it almost impossible to see a difference between the before and after photographs. Please understand that I'm not trying to diminish your looks as I think that you were beautiful before and after, but I cannot truly see much of a difference with only two photographs, specially when they are no on he exact same angle.
I tried to link the blog I reviewed it with timeline photos and Real Self took it out. I just uploaded another before and after pics in an update. I understand the frustration but I truly thought they’d let my other review go through and I don’t know if I mentioned, but I went out of town shortly after I got this done to get married and I didn’t get to review it till later, about a month after I had it done.
I actually do see a difference/ you look great!
Thanks so much. :)
Did you see the results pretty much immediately? I did my neck for the bands here in Michigan and see almost nothing and they are trying to say I will see a difference in three months.
Which did you do? The threadlift or botox? Botox does take a week two weeks to show, but the threadlift is pretty much immediate. I suggest both procedures together for the best results.
I did Nova threadlift. I'm fighting with them now. Just doesn't make sense to me that they are trying to tell me it takes three months for me to see anything and then it lasts only a year. I'm OK with lasting a year but waiting three months to see anything just doesn't make sense.
Trishalish.... I see a major difference in your neck. It looks fantastic! How much botox did they use in your neck? I just want to do a threadlift and wonder if I can get those results from just that. What threads did they use for you? Nova or Silhouette?
Thanks. :) I can’t remember how much botox they used, but it made it so when I smiled, you couldn’t see the platysmal bands. Basically it paralyzed the skin. However, when I was sitting and my head was relaxed, I could still see the bands so the thread lift is what made the biggest difference. I truly believe to get results like mine, you’d have to do both. They used the Nova threads.
Yeah that doesn’t sound right. You should see some improvement straight away, though I did have a swollen neck and bruising for a while and definitely looked better a month later.
I had a PDO thread neck lift 3 weeks ago and I can still see and feel the threads underneath my skin. I"m beginning to notice some lift, but the visibility of the threads has been embarrassing and there's nothing you can do but wait. The cost was $2,000 for the neck only.
Were you able to see your threads?
I could see one at one point when I first got it, but only if I was in a certain light really close up. I could feel it too, but then it went away so it must have dissolved.
Do you know which threads were used? Silhouette, Nova or some other?
Hi, I just got back from there today. They use 20 units of botox on my platysmal bands and the PDO threads are called RegenAlift or RejenLift, however you spell it.
Hope that helps.
catsmeow48.....Which threads did they use? Silhouette or Nova or some other?
The newest ones. I’m not sure. I’m going this Wednesday for botox, I’ll ask.
They used RegenAlift PDO threads. I just got back from there today.
Ahh. They used PDO Medithreds on mine. I can still see them on the surface of my neck and it's been nearly a month.
You should probably go back. They can cut them so they won’t show. And I was wrong about the threads, they were called Mint threads. The owner shoved a pamphlet in my purse while I was getting injected. Idk why I said RegenAlift.
Thanks for telling me the name of the threads. I had not idea there were more thread options out there. I assume you mean you can see the color of the thread through your skin. You must have thin skin like me because that is my concern if I do get this procedure. I have been told it is possible they will show through.
Hey catsmeow48...the comment I left for Trishalish was actually for you regarding the threads showing through.
Yes, that's what they said AFTER the threads were put in.
Can you let us know how long it lasts. I’ve heard many are happy at first when they write the reviews but then results are gone within a couple of months.
Sry for the late reply. I’ve heard 9 months to 3 years. I can’t say for sure, but I do know that all I have to do to keep my neck looking like that picture now is $200 of botox every 3 months. And since my neck is my main concern, I think that’s worth it to keep it looking tight.
