Dr. Hong did a great job with the thread lift on the right side of my face -- but on the left side he apparently placed the threads too superficially, which has left dents / dimples / puckering. Rather than address my concern at the end of the appointment or attempt to fix it, he briskly moved on to the next appointment (maybe also $2000 for an hour-long procedure as well, as was my case).

At the outset, the price they told me was $200/ line;

I had a total of 12 placed (6 on each side: 4 per side on the face, 2 per side of the neck). In the end and without anticipation they "gave me a discount" ($200 off $2400), I think probably because of the bad result.



It was definitely dumb on my part to have this done a few days before a flight out of the country -- was too optimistic it would go perfectly smoothly, so to speak (i.e. with no puckering asymmetries).

I had a threadlift on July 16 and I am going through the exact same thing. The left side of my face looks great but the right side looks like the pic you posted. From what I read this will likely resolve in about 2 weeks but I have seen no improvement in the last week. I am also worried that the superficial placement will not have the desired collagen building effect. Most of all I feel deformed. All I can think of is this dimple and when I look in the mirror my first thought is phantom of the opera. I hope we both see better results soon for what we paid.

I also had a thread lift by a top facial plastic surgeon in LA and the results well, after the swelling subsided were minimal to none and I have pretty good skin aside from mild early heaviness in the jowls area. I feel like thread lifts talk and good talk but fail to live up to the hype. There is a doctor in San Diego who talks about why he doesn't like threads and he is worth a listen to for some good information, I wish I would of listened to him from the beginning but went against my better judgement and decided to give it a try (total regret). His name is (Dr. Amir Karam). He states very good points in regard to thread lifts.

I had it done as well , only one thread on my left side and one on my right and i had dumpling for a couple days and it did subside so it perhaps just takes time.
