Not Sure

I wanted to write this review because I couldn’t find any really in-depth reports on what to expect. The actual process isn’t too bad. A sharp pain from the anaesthetic and just slightly uncomfortable. This is my personal experience. I realise everyone is different. After the process I was left in shock, the hot chocolate definitely helped. I looked like a distorted chipmunk. I spent the night waking in pain and taking paracetamol.I was very uncomfortable for a week with considerable swelling and pain. This wasn’t a lunchtime process then back to work! 8 days later still swollen and the pain was worrying. After about 10 days it began to get better. After a month I still get the feeling of bee stings to the left of my face. I personally can’t see any difference. Still have detachment and jowls. Disappointing. Here’s hoping over the next month I will be more impressed.

I’m inclined to agree. Almost 6 weeks now and still can’t see any improvement. Hopefully in the next month things will start to tighten. ?

I too had threads on March 7th....I see no difference, but I have complications that nothing can be done about because of pandemic....no difference in looks....except for thread ends that are showing in my neck......this has been a nightmare...a costly one. It was also very painful where they put it in my forehead to raise eyebrow.... eyebrow not raised at all, but I now have those lines between your eyes...yay....unbelievable!!! The pain From one side of my forehead took 4 weeks to go away. I was afraid and had no one to see me. This was a big, big mistake!!!

Ummm . Sorry to hear you had a bad time. I am all but 2 days away from It being 2 months since the original thread date . I still see no improvement what so ever. Very disappointing. And a very expensive exercise. If it helps I still feel a tightness and bee sting feeling to my left cheek. I was very panicky to begin with as I did look somewhat disfigured. Different areas may take longer to settle ? All the reviews I read were outstanding . Perhaps Realself don’t really showcase the negative ones so much. Hope things improve quickly for you.

Thanks, you too....I am just waiting for this coronavirus lockdown to be over to get to whoever is suppose to see me in regard to my neck. This happened then I could not get to anybody because of the virus. They probably have to go in and take out the rest of the threads in my neck. They already had to take out threads the day after I originally did it. But, after awhile more thread tips appeared showing popping out in my neck....not good. That was the main reason for doing this and now all the threads after these are removed will be gone. So all that for absolutely nothing :(

I wrote a text yesterday updating how I am doing.....no response, so I guess that might give us a clue ???? I do hope when I do finally get to someone, that they do offer some botox, because that is exactly what I was thinking......I spoke to a friend today and she told me she had a thread lift, I did not ask what kind. I did not tell her I did it because I am embarrassed about my outcome. I will ask her next time we speak. She said it worked great for her. She did not say she wold do it again however, he said next she is going back for scupltra. Maybe I will go do that too......
