Very short term results and ouch!

3 weeks post PDO threads….

I wish this review for my early results were as positive as my other reviews. It has been exactly 3 weeks and most of the puckering is gone and my face has relaxed to my pre PDO face and uneven to boot! Not the results that I was looking for. This procedure was not worth the $5,500, pain and bruising. It was very short lived, disappointed!

I'm so sorry. That why I commented on your initial review. I had been looking into it but read how short lived it is and not with the $$. If I were you I would go back and complain! Perhaps they can do on filler? So disappointing to spend o much on very little return!

I have a follow up on October 7th. I am not ready for the pain again, ugh! She may do some touch up threads and I'm just not ready to go through that again! I was SO sore for over a week, and the first 3 days were awful. I'm so bummed, I loved my results last week.

I can't believe the difference in the picture of September 6,and September 16!It looks like they dissolves overnight! My doctor recommended pdo, but now by looking at your result, it is obvious that it is very short lived. I suggest having a mini lift, it will be permanent ☺️

Same here. Pain was awful for 5 weeks. Never again. I had barbed pdo threads in my neck, threads in my lips and under my eyes, looked great for 6 weeks, went in for follow up and looked at my before pictures and did not see much difference. This did not cost me anything. I was used as a model for threads. I would NOT be happy if I had to pay for this. On to surgical neck lift and lower face lift. Done spending money on various fillers, sculptra, etc. Could've paid for 2 face lifts by now.

Gianni, I’m with you! I’m not happy that I could have paid for a lower face lift for the price of threads. My 30 day follow up entailed $1700 in filler…because I swear it looked worse than when I went there. The person that did it, is supposed to be “the best” and this is all she has for me?!

Your face looks great in your picture. Is that at the pique of your thread lift?

No that picture is when I had sculptra done 4 years ago. . I love sculptra. But once again at 800.00 a month x 4 or 5 sessions is alot of money for just a short time. I would never do threads ever again. I don't know why I was in si much pain but omg so painful. I remember the instructor telling me not to turn my neck for at least three weeks but to turn my body instead. I was like, what did I just do.

What type of PDO threads did you have? Barbed or cog/screw or mono?

Thanks

12 days post PDO Threads -very pleased

This picture is 12 days post PDO. The left side hurt a lot more than the right side and I experienced a lot of bruising and black eye, thank you concealer. I still have a lot of pain in my temple area with slight inflammation. Most of the entry points are healed and puckering is minimal. Super happy!

Oh man! I hate seeing so much $ spent on a poor recommendation. This was just not the right procedure for you/
your jawline/neck. You have a heavier lower face structure with thick skin ( people kill for it) and there was no way to get a good vector pull. I think you’d benefit from a lower face lift & look great!

Ugh, I think I’m going to consider a lower lift. So much for my plan of not doing anything invasive. Lol. I do have plump thick skin. I have few wrinkles, but gravity is taking over. Thanks for your comment!

The swelling has improved significantly, however, I have a left black eye and have a pretty strong pulling sensation from the threads after 5 days. I've been icing and using Arnica topically and orally. I have a high pain tolerance and I was moaning and groaning the first few days. I did not use pain killers, just Advil...probably the mistake :)
