How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
  • Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
  • Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

Follow-up

I went back to see Dr. David Mashhadian, MD FACS of 421 North Rodeo Drive Suite #T1, Beverly Hills, CA 90210, U.S., and instead of acknowledging what a lousy job it was, he started to talk down on me, saying it looks perfect, they have adjusted their office policy to manage expectations better. I call B.S.; I hate being handled, but the arrogant Doctor insisted that I should massage the still very painful threads and come back in a few weeks, and he would give me some 20 units of Botox for free after I spent over $7000.

Anyone Claiming This is Not Painful or No Recovery Time is Lying.

I had three back surgeries and have a very high pain tolerance. I got to the Office and just wanted filler; they had a special $800 off three syringes. I told them what I wanted; of course, they had other suggestions, which was fine. My bad for believing them. Only two threads on my forehead. The nurse claimed she does it once a year and then goes to lunch; nothing to it. Even full of Lidocaine and gas, it was one of the most painful things ever. Blood all over my face, bruised to the max, and even my hair hurts, still today after five days. The Doctor had to prescribe Norco, which doesn't help the pain at all. I haven't slept more than a couple of hours with many meds. I'm attaching just a few pictures from the same day that is not as bad as a day later which look more swollen and full of hematomas like I was punched in the face. OK, bruising I could have lived with, no big deal, it will go away. Claiming that this is a non-event, not so much. It's a flat-out lie. Of course, they said it's because my skin is so thick and cool; blame the patient. So, mid-procedure, 3 women came in and said how fabulous it all looked. I told them to knock it off; they only say that because they have to, I'm not a moron. I got up since there was blood in my eye and looked in the mirror. One side was pulled up so tight I had an arch like those old movie stars. I made it clear that this is unacceptable and that they need to fix it. The nurse had the nerve to tell me that this is normal and it will go down 20%. Really, if one eye goes down 20%, then the other will as well, which doesn't solve the issue. So, a lot of very painful pulling and massaging, it took overall 3 hours. I told them off and wrote a review on Google and Yelp, and the Doctor and nurse immediately called. Lots of back and forth, and they had the gall to ask me to take down the reviews. Absolutely not; if and when they fix what they screwed up, maybe I'll revise it. So, the MD told me he is taking over, and I'll see him next Monday. This was not some Groupon or some quack somewhere but in Beverly Hills on Rodeo Drive.
