I had the procedure 2 weeks ago along with RF and Co2 laser. If you are over 50 expect to heal slower. It took more than 10 days for the swelling to subside and the scabs to disappear. I am also left with nerve damage (neuropraxia) on the lower left side of my face. Research shows that I should recover in 6-8 weeks. I can't talk, eat, smile etc properly. It's like having a stroke. I realize this is a rare condition but it is real and it happened to me.
Be sure to ask your Dr how many of these procedures they have done. Sometimes inexperience with this procedure is a factor. I will post an update in a few weeks.

I am 7 weeks post op. I am still experiencing neuropraxia with my face partially paralyzed. There was some minor improvement around week 6. People still ask me if I had a stroke. My Dr is aware of my condition and doesn't seem concerned. There is not even a follow up appt scheduled. Very disappointed.

Who was your Dr. in Thousand Oaks? Dr. Tansivati? I had a laser procedure with Dr. Tansivati 2 years ago and my skin is still recovering. I'm in the process of scheduling Skin Tite at Beverly Hills Physicians, in Thousand Oaks.

Oh wow - that is scary....I just had the procedure a couple of days ago and the right side of my mouth feels paralyzed. I can't smile, and look pretty bad. I am sure when the swelling goes down, it will look better - just concerned about nerve being damaged rather than bruised. Has anyone had this happen to them?

I had damage on the left side of my face around my mouth. When I smiled, the right side moved but not the left . It took four months before I had my smile back. Now, my plastic surgeon would like to do a little more FaceTite (for free) because he thinks that I can get an even better result. He was a little hesitant at first because I had radiation damage from cancer. I think I’m going to leave well enough alone. This scares me
