Belotero Under Eye Injection to Fix Eye Bags / Dark Circles - Thousand Oaks, CA

I’ve already said this in my other review for my “non-surgical nose job” but I’ll say it again. Dr. Tansavatdi has phenomenal understanding of the facial anatomy and pays great attention to her adjustments to the face. She has a "less is more" mentality that I really appreciate and she is always able to create great symmetry with finesse on my face. Dr. Tansavatdi keeps me looking well-rested and symmetrical and I think that is what a good cosmetic surgeon should be able to do!
For the past 2 years, I have been going to Dr. Tansavatdi for minor adjustments to achieve balance and symmetry in my face. I first went to her to reduce my under-eye circles; she explained all the filler options to me and really helped me understand the differences between them all. She corrected my under-eye bags and does touch-ups for me as needed. I am so grateful to have found her and will likely be a life-long client of hers for all my years to come.
The first visit she talked to me about my goals and what I wanted to do generally, then she explained how the procedure will be and what the risks are because the under-eye is such a sensitive area to work with. After signing all the appropriate forms and selecting a filler: Belotero I came back after the consult for the procedure.
So here’s how it goes: You sit down and get iced, and she puts on some topical anesthetic. (side note: when getting touch ups I have requested no anesthetic sometimes and it helps because the anesthetic makes it more puffy). Then she injects a thin needle under your eye along the bone and squeezes the filler in where it is needed. You will hear the stuff squeeze out, it sounds funny/creepy/crunchy but its all good ?
You may get a little bruising, but sometimes I get no bruising at all. It will be a bit puffier initially but that goes away and then you come back after a week or two for a follow-up. That’s basically it.

Sounds like you've found a great injector. How often do you get the belotero injected?
